For the record, I do smell my Shinkis! Just like most new toys, I love fresh toys smell
Haruka Yuki: I was thinking about something like this for the extra part, I'll have to look at those around here to see if they would fit my need. Though I must say I'm not keen to have painted part in hard plastic case, I try to avoir them in general for this.
And I fiddled a bit with them yesterday, great stuff!

Eheheh...>.>
@Skywave ;; I've never had paint chipping/anything like that with this setup. as long as you don't move them around too much it shouldn't be a problem. (Mine just sit under the shelf when I'm not using them)

Re: My First Shinki!
I got a package today from ebay, got it surprisingly fast, and got this stuff

Got a Black naked body (I think it's a MMS 1, not sure, will find out soon enough! But seller told me it was). And the other head I don't really know what it is, but it looked good so I got it anyway
At least the description was clear about it being "incomplete" and needed work/paint on the face. But there's a sticker sheet in there with eyes and eyebrow, will see how the look, otherwise I'll paint them
That was quite a Shinki week!

No new photo for now (I'll wait to take some outside for better lightning), but you should've told me guys these Busou where addictive
I've ordered 2 more! Light Armour Werkstra and a second WaffeDolphin (HLJ sales on these is too good to pass!).
And I'm lucky most of the other Shinki comes with big accessory kit that pump the price (and that I mostly don'tr want), cause I could get more if it wasnt for that
Now I'll hunt down another Black naked body. My little army of Busou is growing fast!

Here's a pics of my not-so-slowly growing Shinki army! (Sorry crappy lighning setup, can't do much more for now ><). I'm surprised how Xiphos look smaller due to normal-sized head versus the over-sized head of Strarf and Arnvall.

And here's a pic of the custom head

I don't understand the instruction, so after trying to follow the pics I gave up and did it my way
Glued a few pieces and used some styrene to thighten the front hair so I could still swap it, and it look great in the end! The thing that suck about this is that the back hair are moulded in such way that it restrict movement alot, and thats on a naked body, with accessory on it's really hard to put it, let alone move it.

Re: My First Shinki!
Was that one of those resin ones?
As nice as those look, I'd be worried about either painting it horribly or breaking the silly thing.

Re: My First Shinki!
Yes it's a resin head, and as such it's not "soft" and could break. Though the only piece I could see breaking is the front hair, the rest is tick enough and shouldn't break unless you try to
Also there was no paint required finally, it's all stickers for the face! The eyes are a bit tricky to position right, but it's not hard and you have many colors to choose from!
