Don Cheadle has replaced Terrance Howard as Rhodey. Mickey Rourke is playing the techno-enhanced villian Whiplash, Scarlett Johannson is Russian spy Natasha/Black Widow and Sam Rockwell is business rival Justin Hammer. No plot points yet, although its been hinted that Tony's struggle with alcoholism will be touched upon and IM2 starts shortly after the press conference in which Tony reveals his alter ego.

And here I was hoping for Hulkbuster armor...

You might see that in the Avengers movie. Marvel hasn't said a peep about future installments of the Hulk franchise and I'm wondering if that's because they are saving the character's next appearance for the big team up flick. Personally I'm hoping to see Edward Norton on screen with Robert Downey Jr as that would be sheer awesomeness.

IM2 sounds cooler and cooler the more I hear about it. Looks like the early hiccup of not re-hiring John Favaerau has been smoothed out and hopefully Marvel won't throw anymore dumb spanners into the works. Fingers crossed.

While I do own something very cool now (viewtopic.php?f=13&t=613), he is too tall to fit on the bookcase. The top shelf is currently being occupied by my 6 inch Iron Man collection.

And speaking of cool things, I found out that Hot Toys makes blank bodies. So I bought one along with a business suit and now I have a Tony Stark figure.

Thank goodness Favreau and Marvel finally worked out a deal for his return. It was scary to imagine the franchise without him after all the hard work he put into the first film. On the other hand, I'm happy that Terrance Howard has been replaced after all the whining he's done on the subject. Talk about a diva.
