Sure enough Greta didn't let me forget my promise to make her chair next, so here I am finally building the thing (and this time I decided to get a little more ambitious).
"Master, what is this?"
"Well, this will be your chair. Eventually."
"I want to try it, but it's... greasy?"
"That's just flux. Give me a minute..."
"Here. Go ahead and try."
"So? What do you think?"
"It's... not very comfy? All those wires..."
"That's because there's no padding yet. Be patient."
"What are these?"
"These will be soldered to the sides of the seat. I guess they are legs and armrests at the same time."
"They are too short! My seat needs to be higher!"
"Why? Your feet won't touch the ground and you'll have a hard time climbing up on it."
"I don't want the other girls to look down on me! I want them to look up to me!"
"Umm... I don't think you're using these expressions right."
"Master, it must be higher! THIS IS IMPORTANT!"
"All right, all right, let's see what I can do."
A little while later...
"Master, I'm taking this off."
"Go ahead, the wire should be cool enough by now."
BAM!
"Oops. Looks like I made the back heavier than I thought."
"Master, are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Well... I guess we're about to find out. I'm going fix this."
"I think I need to take a more active part in this project. You clearly need help!"
"Yeah, sure, but after I'm done fixing the frame, okay? I don't want any accidents with the soldering iron."
"Hmm. Okay."
To be continued.
