A question?

So I'm still a noob to Shinki's, but I was hoping to get Waffebunny when I found out she was only a head and some parts. Well I can't really afford to get a whole Shinki because I'm broke right now, so I have two questions for you people who are a bit more experienced than I am.
Number one, Is there someone who knows where I can get a MMS body for cheap?

I'm sorry I don't really know its name.

Merienda does come with a body, yes. The only shinki that don't will be described as "EX Sets".

Unfortunately, if you can't afford a normal Shinki, you'd be hard-pressed to find an EX set and blank body for cheaper. Since you're new, here's an overview of the major types of Shinki sets:

• Full Sets: Most releases fall under this category. They come with everything; a Shinki body, plenty of weapons, armor, and accessories, and other doodads such as alternate faces, spacers, a stand, and a sprue of connectors and such. All this makes them generally the most expensive, of course.
• Light Armor: These sets still contain a full Shinki, they just don't come with as much in the way of additional items. Less armor, fewer weapons, and a smaller (and I find more fragile) stand. They're cheaper (usually) than full sets.
• EX Sets: Designed for collectors who already have one or more Shinkis, these are basically expansion packs. They come with a head and about as much armor as a light armor set, give or take, but you need to have a Shinki already or buy a blank body. EX sets are the cheapest of the lot.
• MMS Naked: Blank bodies for customizers to use. They come with the Shinki body, some blank faces, hands, spacers and such, but no armor or weapons. They vary greatly in price depending on which one you want.

Now, there is another option besides getting a blank body: you can buy a cheap Shinki and put Waffebunny's stuff on it. The Wave 4 pair (MMS Seed Juvisy and MMS Flower Zyrdarya) can be gotten for as little as $25 before shipping, as they were never very popular. Given their designs, I can see why that is, but it's a matter of personal preference, so if you're looking for bargain-bin Shinkis, those two are your best bet.

One more note on Shinkis: there are two body types that tend to not mix well together. MMS1st bodies is everything waves 1-10 (including all EX sets), and wave 11 and later, as well as all the light armor sets EDIT: with the exception of the first light armor wave, Werkstra and Valona, are MMS3rd. As a general rule of thumb, accessories work equally well with both bodies, but body parts don't like to mix at all. So, if you get Merienda and Waffebunny, you'll unfortunately be unable to make use of a good half of the EX set.

Not ALL the Light Armors are MMS3rd. The first two waves, Werkstra/Valona and Bright Feather/Harmony Grace, are MMS1sts while Partio/Pomock and Merienda/Kohiru are MMS3rd.

depending if you don't mind using a proxy site, sometimes people on yahoo japan sell multiple bodys and parts really cheap and the mms 1st body is now extremely hard to find, you could also post an add here in the buying and selling section for an mms 1st black body if you wanted too, well really any color but the black body goes best with waffe bunny, she comes with a neck so the black body just looks like a jumpsuit on her, I also suggest trying to find an Ianeira because she goes for really cheap prices sometimes, I got one for $20 +shipping, I doubt the skin tones would match but she is a pretty good shinki on her own with all her armor and accessories, mine almost tips the stand over when I fully arm her up all the way, Merienda has a very fragile skirt though with very small pegs in the front and small holes to put them in, and they do not always fit well but she really is cute, also sometimes Howling goes on sale on like ebay for around $25 but its hard to find and you need to hurry if she does cause I always miss out on her LOL

I think benio's face is main problem, and her armor doesn't look normal when you compare to the others.

If you can order from taobao, I think this is the best choice for you.
