With materials pending, this is gonna be the only one for a while. Each one may be slightly different until I am sure I have found the perfect dimensions that can suit all strikers and weapons. As of now, the current one is about a half inch short but I will resume with it. Maybe when I am satisfied with the later ones, I will see what it takes to send a copy to either Bandai or Max Factory/ Good Smile Company for production. Won't that be neat?
***SPOILER ALERT!***
My next project.

The striker carriage has stalled due to scaling errors and the Harkonnen 2 is on hold. Haven't done much else since then. By the way, I am still looking for a figma Saber casual version. BEsides mandrake, any other places that you guys think may have her in stock beside ebay? Missed 1 by 5 cents. Will upload more pics as work somewhere, sometime begins.

I really should re-title this thread to "A Mad Man's Thread". Anyway, I have gotten two new figures I wish to share on here to make this easier for me to quickly post.
Dumb battle droids.
Image

And now, my latest figure.
Image

Howling seems not impressed by the new comer.
Image

And Yukina knows it.
Image

Howling sure loves big guns.
Image

Time to get into her armor.
Image

Of course, this is a two person operation.
Image

The downside of being well endowed.
Image

"Not yet Mikuru. That be last to go on."
Image

Still helping Yukina with her armor.
Image

"Not yet. I need my other leg armor on."
Image

"Okay. I can hold my rifle and shield. Can you get my wings?"
Image

"Thanks for the help Mikuru!"

Just saw I am now at 4500+ views. Thank you all. Now today, I will post some pics of a buckler I have been working on but first, I have this tidbit for us US Busou Shinki fans. Sentai Filmworks has bought the license for the Busou Shinki anime! :headbang: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... on-figures I was going to post it on the other thread that is more related to that topic but it's locked. No idea why nut that's none of my concern right now. Also, with winter coming and family projects are now starting to pick up, work will be even more slower than what I would of like. That and I have a sick cat to attend to. :*(
With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. Would you like to see my striker carriage be made even more better via 3d model and 3d printer. Family plans for next year include the purchase of both for other projects. I'll just be borrowing it. If successful, I will make the Harkonnen II. But a more immediate plan is to make my own custom set of strikers using my favorite fighter of all time. Now it's time to bore you with details. :headboom:
Yoshika's zero striker when measured and mathed out to the real one, it is roughly 1:102 in scale. So, using two 1:100 F-14 tomcats and A LOT OF WORK, I will make a set of strikers. As usual, will post as things come about. Thank you all for your support and most of all, patience.

The F-14 strikers would be interesting. Are you planning to keep the engines in the main body or stick them on the wings like the Me262 striker? Also, are you going to have one engine per leg, or two? And, of course, are you going to preserve the swing wing?

Well, I will use these images as a reference.

While I am on the subject, he redid his M1 Abrams so I will use the 3d program to make this.

If the pics don't post, here's the links. I do have to warn though, the adds on danbooru are for matures only. Meaning 18+.

As to your question about the wings, HECK YES! I am gonna to preserve the swing wing. Now this may not happen until January but if anything else changes or starts up, you will see it here. Now, onto some more RP88 madness.

I really should update more often.

After some cleaning and painting.

Ogitsune-san's works really are inspiring. I have a hunch that he's worked with the Strike Witches animation team, but there's nothing to indicate that asides from the very similar art style.

Saber's shield feels closer to a Highlander targe than a buckler, since she's wearing on her arm instead of gripping it with her hand.

Looking forward to your rendition of the F-14 Striker! :schmetterling:

I was going for a large shield but couldn't figure out how to make one. I highland targe, eh. Never heard of that before. Just looked it up and they are very stylish.

You do know that those gauntlets work as shields, right? You've put a shield on top of a shield XD

I never knew the gauntlets could double as a shield. Sounds potentially harmful to the hand.
