So, finally a post after over a month! An awful lot of IRL issues popped up one after another (work overtime, typhoons, power blackouts, net connection problems ), and then there's 'other' stuff (anime and Diablo III ). However, I still kept myself busy with mods and upgrades to my girls' gear.

Kei - MMS Type Blademaster

Rui - MMS Type Cannon Fortress

Ayu - MMS Type Heavy Metal

These three I consider complete, so that leaves five out of my eight shinkis to finish.

First up, we have Maya - MMS Type Wing Guard Ranger.







I modded her chest armor with Cherudim Gundam's own chest piece. I also made use of her skirt parts, with the front parts shortened a bit. I junked her backpack and gave her something a lot better, both cosmetically and function-wise, with Cherudim's rifle bits as her new primary weapons.

Next, we have Rina - MMS Type Wing Guard Warder.







Like her sister, she received a new chest armor piece courtesy of Arios Gundam. She also had her skirt pieces modded. And for her backpack, she got four 0-Raiser wings as mid-range fannel bits that both attack and serve as shields. She is more melee and defense oriented compared to her sister.

Now, we have Laika - MMS Type Armored Hound.







She received just a few changes, most notable are her leg armor parts (combination of Beginning J Gundam and GN-X III) and her Impact Knuckle modded into a pilebunker, also equipped with two vulcan cannons. I still have plans for improvements in the future, but that would depend on availability of parts needed.

Up next, Griselda - MMS Type Paladin.







Major changes were made to give her the mecha-paladin look that I was looking for. She received shoulder armor parts from Blu Duel, chest armor made from different gunpla pieces, and backpack for increased mobility with parts from Noir's old 00 Raiser Gundam backpack and Gundam Griepe. I kinda changed her skirt parts connections as well. Her headgear is once again scratch-built (would you believe from cardstock?) and given a much better shield (from pla-plate). I don't think she needs a mount anymore, even though I have Fuunsaiki. Too bad shinki hip joints kinda limit their ability to properly ride him (Fuunsaiki's torso is wide compared to some 1/12 motorcycles). Besides, she has that Warhammer look on her (Sisters of Battle, anyone? ).

And finally, Noir - MMS Type Archdemon.





Been a long time since she received proper modding, and I'm proud to say that this is her new and permanent gear. I repainted her armor parts, removing the orange-yellow and returning her primary black and gray theme (with the occasional red). She finally has her own custom headgear, complete with a pair of horns.

Noir's mecha arm backpack is finally complete built from her own original mecha arms modded with various gunpla parts. The manipulators are from a bootleg MG Epyon that I bought specifically for her mods, though I think a 1/60 set of manipulators would look better.







And to complete the set, she got Epyon's wings modded to look like Samael's (Darksiders) reversed devil wings, and a scratch-built tail. The sword she is holding is from an MC Anaklusmos Galaxia 001 kit, modded and repainted to suit her theme. The Epyon whip is till undergoing mods for her use (original MG whip consists of ten middle segments and an end segment; the bootleg I bought has THIRTY middle segments and TWO end segments! I can actually make two 16-segment whips or a ridiculously long 31-segment whip with those!).

That's it, I'm oficially running out of ideas and shinkis to mod! With that, and more damn typhoons inbound (which means more rain and power blackouts in the future), I won't be posting as much, except for the occasional update and photoshoot (if the weather allows for it).

Wow! Impressive, your armor from gunpla match with Busou Shinki perfectly. These give me inspiration for my girl's armors.

I think, if you attach some decal such as "Caution" "Warning" like katoki hajime style, they will have more great details.

There is always a gunner you can do. Laika is mid to long range with close combat capabilities but what of a pure mid-range to short range gal with shot guns, rifles, sub-machines guns or whatever. Or even better, a mid-range weapons expert with missile pods. Hey, I'm just throwing out a few ideas.

ooh, NICE. And yeah, I think some decals would add nicely to it. At this point, I think you need a makers mark, honestly. Maybe experiment with decal paper?
