Because the people responsible for the video probably don't speak english very well, wanted a block of vaguely relevant text to throw in the background, and just took the lazy route of copy/pasting a chunk from wikipedia without bothering to check what it actually said.higurashi9 wrote:why would a figure company say that there figures are like another figure companies?....

Especially when they're very much different, in everything from the joint system to the style.higurashi9 wrote:why would a figure company say that there figures are like another figure companies?....

Re: Battle Masters Mk.2
We were commenting (Well, I was) on Cbox when the vid first showed up. The first one they did also had that same block of text, but it went by a lot faster. I THINK I wrote that particular paragraph too, but I dont quite feel up to going through Wiki's history to figure it out.persocomsan wrote:Especially when they're very much different, in everything from the joint system to the style.higurashi9 wrote:why would a figure company say that there figures are like another figure companies?....

Anyways, I'm not quite clear on Wiki's legalese for things like this. Though about asking on Wiki itself, but another part of me says "SHHHHHH! Dont do anything that'll get Konami to hate us"

Wikipedia uses a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, which technically requires attribution (obviously), and that the resulting work be under the same, or a similar and compatible license. Obviously, I don't think Konami are going to license the game (or even just the trailers) under a compatible license...Caterwaul wrote:Anyways, I'm not quite clear on Wiki's legalese for things like this. On the other hand, while I have no idea about the fine details of Japanese copyright law, at least in the US, it would probably be considered acceptable Fair Use, as it's just a small segment of the article, and is used purely as a background decorative element (as evidenced by the fact that it doesn't even make sense in context, and is a language foreign to the intended audience).
Either way, I don't think anyone's going to really care

edit: and most importantly, having checked Wikipedia's official copyright policy, they don't own the copyrights - the original editors retain that, so if you did write that paragraph, you would retain the right to re-license that text however you see fit (and it's rather telling that the vast, vast majority of wikipedia's copyright policy deals with material submitted to wikipedia, not pulled from it).

Re: Battle Masters Mk.2
Well, google remains as incoherent as ever when trying to translate names it doesn't know.
Looking at the original Japanese: Oorbellen is voiced by Aoi Yuuki (Victorique in GOSICK, Madoka, Platinum the Trinity in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift), and Zielbellen is voiced by Ayana Taketatsu (Azusa in K-ON, Kirino in OreImo, etc). Unfortunately they're both DLC.

Re: Battle Masters Mk.2
can only imagine their personalities with seiyuus like that...
now is zielbellen going to be a tsundere or cutesy type (im thinking cutesy)
also google translate vaguely translated that you can change hair AND eye colour AND name at any time
(cant wait till its released as ISO)
