In some other threads around here (and especially over in the thread at TFW) there are lots of criticisms over the lack of "clothing" on most of the newer waves. These two, as well as Raptias and Artille, show that that's not necessarily the case. We've just had a few pervy designers. Mary Celes has completely won me over! The skirt mode by itself? Not interesting. All the cool stuff that skirt can do? Now that's freaking cool! I'm also thrilled to see Proxima's "scythe" weapon. I mean, you can make scythes with a little creativity on other girls, but I think this is the first "official" set with one.

Oh, and those bonus weapons? Bad. Ass. It's great that there are two of them, too. That way they aren't sharing one huge sword like Raptias and Artille...

I'm kinda surprised most people are passing on Mary Celes.
At first I didn't like her at all, but when I saw those new images she seemed pretty cool to me. And she has friggin' anti-tank weapons man! I like her weird mask thingy too, moreso than Proxima's.

Mary feels lazy to the extreme. its as if Nio took his(?) sweet time building Proxima first and realized he(?) only had x time left for the number two model.
Mary's "cape" is merely her skirt moved upwards precisely- her weapon resumes to a small axe/gun and whatever those crackers are called.
Her "mask" is just her hat on her face!

She doesnt feel fullset to the min.,(a light armor,yes, if i didnt know better) and def NOT inpar to her sister's price.

her sisters mask is also just a backwards hat, and maryceles has more detail on her main body, harmony grace also has the skirt to cape idea aswell and no body complained then over all they have about the same ammount of detail, even in the armor, so im stickin to still wanting both
