Not that much discussion on this one.
Still, confirmation that Shinkis cant really eat normal food, which implies anything they were seen eating (And not just tasting) was meant just for Shinkis. And yes, technical brainstorming is part of the fun.

I think the problem was that this episode was pretty boring. Very generic Christmas episode, only thing to discus really were the mechanics of shinki colds - which you can see I discussed with AK already xD

I'm, personally, taking those present bags and the size of the giftboxes in comparison as a use of subspace tech.

Meanwhile I'm also not sure if Lene's line meant "can't eat food" or just, literally, "can't eat cake". I didn't hear/couldn't understand the Japanese line, so I don't know if the subs were literal or not, but if she mentioned cake in the Japanese it could just be any number of ingredients in the cake itself they just can't handle.

my best bet is that they probably cant eat food per se... but they can at least taste it... just remember the cooking episode and those short scenes from the BM games / moon angel

so far the only thing shinkis can eat is whatever is stored on jellycans...
