Re: kintaro's shinkis
A few updates.
First, the (horribly belated) celebration of activation anniversary for Patricia, Kureha, Yuki and even Greta.
"Horribly belated" because this time I decided to make all of their presents myself (rather than just buying something for them as usual) and the "making" part took a whole lot longer than expected.
So, almost a month and a half later the girls finally got their presents:
And here they are:
"Master, am I doing this right? It doesn't seem very stable."
"Don't worry, it's just like riding a bicycle."
"A "bicycle"?"
"Oh..."
Eventually she got the hang of it.
Sort of.
"Riding a motorcycle is surprisingly hard..."
"Pushing is harder, you know."
Meanwhile at the shooting range...
A sniper is a sniper, no matter the weapon.
A reference to a certain illustration:
"Master, may I have some more ammo?"
"This is all I have for now."
"Only four?"
".50cal cartridges are not easy to come by, you know. But I'll see what I can do later."
For now someone is going to have to conserve her ammo.
Yukihana got herself a special ops heavy rifle. Good for silent infiltrations, but I guess it could be shorter.
Yuki clears a room:
Greta did somehow manage to pull off her signature pose with that machine gun:
...but shooting it normally didn't go so well. The case of the gun being larger than the girl?
A problem easily solved:
Nobody. Messes. With. Greta.
To be continued.

Yeah, M82A2 was pretty challenging for her to hold, I think I'll mod the other one I have to the more traditional M82A1 layout:
Re: kintaro's shinkis
Christmas greetings from our house!
This year's Santa was...
"Have you been a good girl this year? Only the good girls get presents, you know."
"I-I don't know..."
Shy Jenn was too easy a target.
"Stop this right now and give Jenn her present!"
"Okay, okay, I was just kidding..."
Patricia was not amused.
Ninja sisters' turn.
"Since you're both so traditional, I thought you might like this..."
"A warrior's drink for you!"
Mana probably didn't get the reference though.
"I-It's not like I picked Strawberry for both of us on purpose! This is completely by accident!"
"Thank you, Greta."
"M-Merry Christmas... Onee-chan."
Meanwhile...
"So, how did you find the taste?"
"It was... rather mild."
"Did it taste like green tea?"
"Hmm. I am not exactly sure. I have never had any."
"Everyone, may I have your attention?"
"?"
"I believe this occasion calls for a toast."
M: "I propose a toast to peace on Earth and goodwill to all shinkis and humans alike."
P: "Let's also drink to good health and continued prosperity."
G: "...of our Master!"
K: "To greater improvement in training and battle readiness!"
J: "To our friendship!"
Y: "To new experiences and many more days spent together!"
And here's everyone relaxing and enjoying their drinks while watching some girls climb a mountain.
Hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

Looks y'all had fun! Merry Christmas to you and your Shinkis

Re: kintaro's shinkis
Time for more updates.
First, a flashback to the fall of last year (somehow these got missed):
September 22, Jenn's release anniversary.
Jenn and her new dress (and a necklace):
We even did a little photoshoot:
She was quite happy with her new outfit. In fact, she was on cloud nine (virtual, of course )
November 25, Valkyries' release anniversary.
Patricia got a sweater:
For her virtual adventure she chose a shopping trip...
...followed by a Mediterranean vacation (she couldn't make up her mind).
"Come on, Master, let's go!"
"Tio... Pepe?" (Patricia being a tourist).
Greta on the other hand...
...got a country girl dress:
...and went for a walk in a park:
It might sound like the sisters didn't spend their special day together, but the great thing about these virtual worlds is that it is easy to cross over from one into another and meet each other along the way:

Gorgeous pics, and I am legitimately envious of those outfits you gave them.

Re: kintaro's shinkis
...wow.
Any tip on how you make the front lighting colour match with the background on the screen ? They look so natural.

I have a few lightbulbs with different color temperatures, so it's a matter of picking the one that's closest to the lighting in the particular picture.Kirie wrote:...wow.
