Well, what started out as adding UTF8 support so Japanese characters can be posted ended up wiping out the search database, rebuilding it corrupted the post text database. The backup won't take because of the changes to allow UTF8 support. So yes, it appears all posts are gone...

Oh and search is still broken, so I'm probably going to have to reinstall the whole mess.

...Well...crap.

No worries, SD. Other than banter, we haven't lost anything that can't be re-posted. It will just take a little time doing so.

My forum appears to be up and running again. I did lock the new tally thread considering the problem we had last time there were two threads and I added an announcement about posting in there. Basic stuff that's covered under the general board rules too, but never hurts to have a second reminder.
