Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)
Not sure 'new body type' really counts when it comes to the new line considering they're all kits now. according to the guys back at tfw2005 its a small body type designed to be used on BLADE's Shinkis/MDs Basically, yes. All Shinkis are going to be following the Megami Device body standard, and ei...

Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)
Knowing Koto, I'd expect that the Tranche parts will first be a Koto exclusive order bonus, with perhaps a recolored release at a later point in the future.halconfenix wrote:But the first prototype pics that appeared online show tranche parts.... Maybe an expansion kit in the future?
(i hope so actually)

Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)
I really don't see why people are saying Koto's trying to kill the Busou Shinki line. Have you seen how the FA Girls line is doing? If anything, Koto making Busou Shinki like the FA Girls line is them trying to duplicate the success of one of their better model kit lines using a pre-existing IP that...

Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)
considering the fact that she is less articulated, hence less parts she should cost a bit lower. Overall, the Kotobukiya Shinki are likely to have a few more points of articulation than the original Shinki. I'm not sure where this "less articulated" thing keeps coming from; Koto's mecha musume have...

Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)
I think it's Konami that's trying to kill the line, if anyone. I'm fairly certain that listing's been up ever since Koto jumped the gun and announced a September 28th release date last. year. As far as price, though, I maintain that it's entirely fair...well, once you factor in Amazon's import price...

Yeah; now that someone besides Fumikane's on design, we'll see a lot more emotive faces.

Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)
Saw this the other night and thought "hmm that looks like the Arnval body" http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIGURE-027400&page=rt_11 Actually the Megami Device line seems to have a similar body type. I know that "busou" means armored but it also mentions a "busou" mode XD I know, rando...

Re: Kotobukiya's Megami Device
My assault/scout pair arrived and have been built! They're cute little bots, but perhaps my biggest gripe is that they weren't designed with quick or easy swap-ability in mind. The body feels more like it was designed to be assembled in a single configuration and left that way instead of swapped bet...

You're reminding me just how many stands I need. How are the ones you're using for all of your Frame Arms girls? They look nice and sturdy.
