Figma has really outstripped them in terms of output, and with a lot of other companies jumping in on the action figure band wagon, they are losing fans and getting more competition. Konami has to step up its game as the current releases brought out by competitors are really good, and cheaper. I wish they would release more regular licensed characters, rather than release them as repainted exclusives.

Busou Shinki isn't a liscensed-character-figure line, though. The closest thing in the market to compare Shinki to is... Moebine. And they came second. :p

It is a little slow between waves recently, but it's not like Konami hasn't been releasing things. The mizuki, repaints and the last wave of light armors just came at february - march. If you check the past release schedule at fanmode, there has been 4-5 month breaks between some releases. Yeah, I can't wait for the new batch of light armors and regular shinkis to come out, but this kind of wait isn't totally unheard of.

Now, what I really wish is that they would suppliment these waves by mass-producing fan mods. True, it doesn't really hold the same trend of having industry professionals and popular names design the waves, but there are some really sweet mods out there, as you all well know.

It does also kind of suck too, since we don't have anything to really talk about until the next wave comes out.

What I meant was Busou Shinki/MMS. Didn't they release Eryu Tron and Aona Aoba, Yoko, the QMA girls, Sky Girls, and Nagi. I wish they would release more Anime licensed characters, like finishing the QMA cast or even better, Strike Witches! As for Moebine, I am not touching it with a ten foot pole, looks like it was designed by the creators of Q-joy figures.

As far as Strike Witches, unlike the other shows, Konami doesn't have a stake in it, or else we'd probably already see a handful of those ridiculously gratuitous crotch-shot soldiers at large.
