Re: Zenislez's Housemate
To be honest, my hands also REALLY full right now. Thank goodness Erica and Rin always help me so I can keep the others in line.kintaro wrote: Wow. 12 girls, that's a pretty big family. I have my hands full with only 6.
Let's just say that some of them can be destructive.....or more like no concern for colateral damage or too trigger happy. Especially Imca with her sonic weaponry when her drum set deployed and with all those missiles.....Mobius wrote:Please tell me they're not as destructive as my three girls are. At least Yuliette (my Tempesta) is content with taking a windex bath for now instead of joining in on the fights. Then again given her expression, I can't help but think that she finds said fights between Natsume, Charlotte and Lynette amusing. I don't know if that's more terrifying than the others' recklessness!
Edit: Also, goddamnit Zeni, but now I REALLY want to get the Vic Vipers - they look so cute and HAPPY!
And Vic Vipers? Happy? Of course. I wonder why nobody like them when they are so cute.
Well......not always happy. But yes, me and all of my girls are happy that we are a family and have a house for shelters despite we pretty much just a bunch of mismatch misfits personality.TRANS+CRAZY wrote:D'aaaw, one big happy family! <3

For the Vic Vipers girls, I think it stems from their armor mode... as in, you can't do many things with the armor when not in ship configuration, and when in ship config, not enough left to make a light armor for the girl like with the MK2 girls....
That being said, my own Lirbiete would most likely club anybody over the head if they said they don't like her

Ah, I can understand what you mean. The vicvipers is really not that flexible and not many customize can be done.Shikaze wrote:For the Vic Vipers girls, I think it stems from their armor mode... as in, you can't do many things with the armor when not in ship configuration, and when in ship config, not enough left to make a light armor for the girl like with the MK2 girls....

When not in ship configuration, the option for custom is limited. When in ship/robo config, no armor is left that can be use by the girls, leaving them completely and utterly armorless, weaponless and all around vulnerable.
Still, I'll think of something. There must be something that can be use for them.

And this is where we once more enter the wonderful world of kitbashing, aka GUNPLA CANNIBALIZATION.Zenislez wrote:Ah, I can understand what you mean. If you're gonna kitbash, there's also another line you can use : the Frame Arms from Kotobukya... who also offer the Modeling Support Goods series, fancy name for what is in fact supplemental weapons, shield, and the likes for your plamo.

Re: Zenislez's Housemate
Hmm......Is Frame Arms compatible with shinki's peg joints? Since for some gunpla, we do need to make some......permanent mod that pretty much say good by gunpla.

Re: Zenislez's Housemate
As someone who's actually done a kitbash with Frame Arms (See: Charlotte + Hresvelgr equipment), it actually doesn't take that much modification at all. Sure, there's epoxy needed for the pegs, but you don't need to sand down or gut it, at least with that kit. The arm polycaps may require a little superglue to tighten as well, but it's still usable. That, plus glue isn't really needed for assembling the model, having an inner frame that can take a lot of parts, and being in scale with MMS1 and MMS 3 tall Shinki makes them a nice second choice. It's also more of an aesthetic preference as well - Frame Arms obviously isn't as expansive as Gunpla are.Zenislez wrote:Hmm......Is Frame Arms compatible with shinki's peg joints? The only problem I encountered, and more due to the specific design I was doing was that some of the Hresvelgr parts caused some serious clusterhell on Charlotte - then again given the scythes are bigger than her, and she's using parts from two 1/100th kits (Wing Zero Custom and Hresvelgr) and... yeah... It works, you just have to plan out the design carefully.

Re: Zenislez's Housemate
Hmmm.....sounds interesting, unfortunately, Frame Arms is much harder to find.
I'll just look around next December then.

Ah, that's right you don't live in the US do you? Yeah, that's going to be a major bummer man. And this is why we stick with Gunpla. Apparently anyone on here from a country with internet can get their hands on Gunpla with relative ease (though financially is another story
). Good look for the Frame Arms though!
