I'd say it's Saito Hajime's Gatotsu technique, at first glance. He's a character from the Rurouni Kenshin manga/anime, for those who've never seen it.

Can i haz cooke naow ? :maochao:
Shiaoran wrote:You lose the cookie, because Gatotsu is the left-handed version. The right-handed version is called Hirazuki, and it could be featured in other series, because it's a real style.

i sad naow
That's actually a pretty good guess...but sadly, it's incorrect. I've never seen or read Rurouni Kenshin; the combat stance is based off of a stance taken by Riku in Kingdom Hearts.
Here, have a muffin for your guess:

While you're enjoying that muffin, here's a hint: The reference has less to do with Saber's pose and more to do with who her opponent is.

So sorry about that guys. I loaded double images and thought I posted the 1st and then deleting it, thinking that I loaded the 2nd. Well, here is what I wanted to load.

I gotta admit, I am REALLY impressed at how well Saber articulates and how well detailed she is.

New preview up on the figma blog: Uesugi Kenshin from Sengoku Rance.

Removable helmet, and she comes with multiple weapons including this dagger:

Effect parts for her main sword:

A variety of faces as you'd expect, including this adorable embarrassed one:

And for some reason, a giant onigiri:

March release, 3800yen MSRP (tax included), which should work out to around 2800 or so on AmiAmi. Preorders up next Tuesday (15th).

Why now, Figma? Oh well. But hey, on the bright side, she can fights Benio  But her skirt... Imho, it will be a hard material like Reimu & some other Figmas. Maybe i can take it off & replace it with soft textured skirt from other Figma

Given the design, I suspect it'll have jointed outer sections, with the middle being flexible soft plastic, similar to Saber and Shamal's skirts. They usually only go for single-piece hard plastic skirts when there's no way to section it up without breaking up the sculpt.
