Back wall's complete, just needs decor...
The back wall and detailing took a lot of work, but is was well worth it!

Re: Papercraft Works
The Japanese-style area of my Shinki shelf is complete! Still needs miniature decorations though...
Familiar?
The Master's portrait.
Kotatsu is still waiting for fabric.
Storage space for extra weapons and parts (I'm going to build a few weapon racks and an armory area soon.)
Paper and cardboard... how I love working with 'em! Too bad I lack miniature things to decorate the place with, so might as well look out for some or just build 'em... The rest of the shelf might be a mix of recreation and a small area for an armory, though I would prefer putting the armory on another shelf and then adding on a command center type room or something. Sigh... more space issues...

Re: Papercraft Works
Got a few stuff for the shinki shelf...
I got a laptop and a couple of potted plants.
The laptop texture I got off google images, but the quality is below what I'm used to, so here's the template, after a little editing on my part:
The plants are from the Canon Creative Park page, scaled down to shinki size.

Re: Papercraft Works
Whew, finally something done after delays courtesy of a creativity slump, IRL issues and overtime at work. I've been trying to tackle the layout of my shinki shelf for a long while and I think I've gotten something planned, finally.
For now, I've built some more papercraft, a plasma tv and wall mount.
This one is pretty nifty, with a template for different screens for all the TV shows you wanna see. I added a thin sheet of acrylic plastic for the front screen.
And, the wall mount...
This really added color to the place, and I really liked the end result. Of course, more decorations and stuff for the shelves are in order, including some wall-mounted speakers.
The plasma tv is from the Panasonic papercraft site:

On another note...
I tried to build a different sofa using foam and fabric and the end result isn't as good as I wanted it to be, but that's okay since it's just for practice, and that I'll be redoing it anyway.

Re: Papercraft Works
Probably wanna run a black/dk blue marker over the edges of some of those paper works. Wasnt to obvious before, but the white edges are a bit distracting from what are elsewise some really good paperworks.
