Pomock and the squirrels was cute. And brave. And a little stupid. You know, the brave kind of stupid. I'd be afraid of the squirrels gnawing my girl's hands off... But it made for one hell of a photo shoot! No teeth marks on Pomock, right?

Not that I can tell. There are a couple of very light scratch marks on her head band that may or may not have already been there but other than that, she's surprisingly scratch-free considering the abuse she took. It helps that her hands are the soft plastic type and the squirrels are skittish. They usually run off and only approach you because you got a peanut in your hand and even then it takes quite a bit of courage on their part to get close. Usually they just grab the nut and run.

One thing for sure is I won't be putting Pomock through this again anytime soon. Even before doing the shoot, I was fairly worried about what might happen so it was good everything went as well as they did.

Hi-res gallery up on imagevenue. Although gallery is set to family-safe, it seems there's still a potential NSFW pop-up for first-time viewers so activate your pop-up/script blockers and watch your surroundings before clicking on your first pic. If you see what seems to be a eco-ad, it's a bait & switch.

My step-mother doesn't like mice but I think they're cute like anything else furry & small.

Ah, right. I was a little worried about that as well but that's why I hovered nearby to act as Pomock's bodyguard in case the squirrels tried anything. It wasn't likely though since they're generally not that brave and Pomock is much larger than a peanut to carry around with one's mouth.

edit: She did have a bit of moisture on her head from all the squirrels sniffing her out. Had to give her a good wipe afterwards.
