odd that they only ship EMS, thanks for pointing it out though, may have to pick one or two more up from there.

Order an Asuka from them, already paid but still didn't received the ship out e-mail. Kinda worry.

Thursday morning, I placed an order with AmiAmi for a Tigris and a Graffias. At the time their website said both were available, and in fact they had almost 1,000 Graffias in stock. That evening someone in AmiAmi e-mailed me (I'd already received an automated e-mail acknowledging, but not confirming, the order), stating that Tigris was in stock but Graffias was backordered. He or she said I'd receive a second e-mail when Graffias was in stock again, but that this might take up to two weeks. Being impatient and impulsive, I logged in to AmiAmi's website to try to either cancel the order, or delete Graffias from the order and ship just Tigris. Couldn't find anything like that.

Friday afternoon or evening, I decided I'd instead try to order a Tigris and a Zelnogrard (I already have one, but I want doubles of her leg-guns and I can give the body to one of my EX-sets). Today, Saturday morning, I woke up to two consecutive e-mails. The first was a confirmation of my order of Tigris and Zel. The second e-mail was something like this:

I've noticed you have placed two orders, and I have combined them.
Please disregard my last mail.

Busou Shinki Graffias [Backorder]
Busou Shinki Tigris
Busou Shinki Zelnogrard

I e-mailed e_support@amiami.com explaining what I tried and failed to do. I decided that I'd just wait the two weeks or whatever for Graffias to be replenished, and requested that they remove 1x Tigris from my order. Awaiting a response.

I believe there to be NO malfeasance on AmiAmi's part, but I'd like to warn they appear to not quite have their act together the same way that other online vendors do.

They'll take care of that, no problem, 9th. I did the same, asked them to remove Pomock from my order, and grabbed something else, instead. And they did.

Sadly it appears I won't be able to go through with the order. We're having issues tracking down the *password* to that Paypal account...

Well, the two I ordered are listed as shipped without any issues. I'll keep you all posted.

out of interest, how much are the shipping charges approximately for those of you who have purchased them. I hate not knowing how much i'm going to spend until i've already spent it.

I bought 3 full Shinkis, a light armor Shinki and an EX set; shipping to the US was about $65 USD through Paypal's rates of the day. Here's the EMS estimate site, my shipping was 600 yen more than it said here (5,400, was actually 6,000)

Ah, I probably should mentioned that the confusion was cleared up, and I got a proper combined order of one Tigris, one Zelnogrard, and one Graffias. Confirmation came just before November, and the figures arrived either November 5th or 6th.

AmiAmi currently only ships West via EMS, meaning shipping will be very expensive. When you order from them, you can mention that you'd like to be able to have future orders shipped via SAL, and apparently the store will change to make SAL an option when demand is 'enough.'
