It's official...Fubuki is getting a Konami Style rerelease. (As previously shown in this pic)

To those with the original Fubuki, Black Wings version adds a pair of black wings (natch) as well as a ninja scroll. Her feet are also changed, the claws being painted brown instead of gold.

On a personal note, while this is good for those who never received the initial Fubuki, I'm a bit irked that I'd have to buy her again to get the new parts. I hope Konami releases those bits seperately. Still, she's a nice Shinki.

This is good news. So, does anyone know any cheap proxy service I could use to order one?

...I prefer the old version, actually, but that's because I like the idea of her being incompetent. She looks too much like srsbsnss for me :x Still, it's nice to see her back out again!

2) Is it possible for the figure to hold the scroll in her mouth?

Those wings are to hard to keep on, for Mizuki anyway. Seems good for a release for those who didn't get her the first time..but cheap of Konami. This is worse then a repaint. That's just my opinion though..

I'm guessing wave 11 is most likely being pushed into 2010. Seems like that's what they are going for at this point.

It could be worse, Vo. The other day, we were rather seriously discussing the fact that, maybe the line was ending, given that we've heard no release dates, and HLJ pushed the releases of the blanks back a month.

This re-release of Fubuki only serves as a "Hey, look, guys! We haven't forgotten about this line!", to me, as well as an awesome chance to grab her for those that missed her the first go-around (like myself).


So between endless repaints/re-releases and the end of an awesome line? I'll go with the repaints/re-releases myself. Besides, what if you're someone who loves a particular design but hates the colors it came in? Or missed a shinki (like Ach) and really want her?

Nice! I like the little scroll. I'll be picking this version up, as I haven't acquired a Fubuki yet. My Mizuki needs a sister, and it looks like she'll finally get one for Christmas.

Oooh, I want her. I think her being released on my birthday though is just more incentive.

At least they're releasing something.

Yes, I know. I'm just the ever so impatient one. I'll be happy with any repaints and or delays just after wave 11.
