Wave 8 - Repaints Confirmed

Hmm. I like the look of Desert Mur. I also like the idea of repaints of shinki, which is something I’m not very keen on with other toy lines. *Sigh…* More to collect… [Ten sets of cheers audible in background.]

Just in case new readers to the thread don't read the entire thread: There are no physical repaints planned for Wave 8. They are, for now, only on Battle Rondo. The photoed ones are customs.

Wave 8 repaints confirmed for April 2010 release.

Asuka = 5250 yen
Murmeltier = 5670 yen

I think I'm going to give my wallet a rest, and pass on both of these. Desert Mel looks like she might be a good base for Ft. Bragg, but otherwise doesn't excite me. Dark Asuka doesn't really generate that much interest. They're neat ideas, I think, and clever ones for repaints, but they just don't do much for me.

Maybe that will change if/when there's some information on what actual changes (new faces, extra bits, etc) have been made other than the paint jobs.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see a very similar color palette with Sanya Litvyak of Strike Witches?
