It's a sad day when a papercraft booth is considered actual news. Unfortunately, us Shinki fans are starved enough for news for that to happen. The most news we have is the sheer lack of news; both ShinkiFest and WonFes went by with no real official Konami showing of any of the main line. As far as I know, for Konami to simply skip two major festivals like this is unprecedented, and it bodes poorly for the future of the line. Given Konami's lack of an announcement regarding the cancellation of the line, it might simply be on hiatus. As to why...we can only speculate. General consensus in CBox is that this is related to the recent surge of "factory rejects" being sold on TaoBao from the last couple of releases. This is supported by the circumstances of the last release, the Wave 5 repaint rerelease; it was small, not particularly advertised, and limited to KonamiStyle and HLJ; it seems likely that it was intended as a sting to catch the culprit. Whether it worked or not, it appears likely that Konami's having production line issues. What we do know is that they currently have two waves fully prototyped; at this point, we just wait for Konami to say something.
