Photo Comic idea- How to make one?

I started one under comics but was somehow deleted without my knowledge but I'm not complaining. I think it belonged here anyway.

I am highly interested in starting my own photo comic series but before I do, I would like to know how you out there make your own. In terms of the speech bubbles, graphics and such.

You can do one in Paint. You don't need any fancy software. Just draw in the speech bubbles and add text.

But something a lot of people use is GIMP.

It's free, and a lot like Photoshop.

It's real easy, all you do is take pictures, add text, and voila, photocomic. It also helps so have some vague idea of a plan when you go into it, so that your comic makes sense. And I challenge you to make a comic where the characters aren't toys in someone's bedroom, because that's a bit well-done.

That'll be hard given environmental constraints but I'll think of ... something. I'll have to create 'stages' out of lego blocks and my collection of war diorama's. I am not that good at photo manipilation so if someone has time to do thst for me, that'll be greatly helpful. But that'll take time before I cna do all that.
What's also overdone are transformers and shinki. I'm going to go with figma, shinki's and similar sized soldiers. What scale should I go with?

Okay, with that, I will continue. Does anyone here have a mac and what programs are available? Like I said, I know nothing of photo manipulation so I will try to take a pic and with some assistance, I will try to make my first frame of a web comic.

there's photoshop for MacOS, there's GIMP and also Comic Life so if you can get one of those that's more than enough to make you comic as long as photoediting tools go

Thanks. This weekend, I may make an attempt to make one. Who knows, I may start a tutorial here to help newcomers who also never made one to make their own.
