since my mom's family is coming on a few days i pretty much have to put all my projects on hold until im done with it (more or less a month from now). And as for the face thing, im still a newb when it comes to custom toys so any "alternate" face is just going to be photoshopped for photocomic purposes...

i'm currently doing some experiments involving Diorama Studio and a photorealistic raytracing/rendering software called POV-RAY, this is my first result:

Looks nice. But Arnval needs a shadow and she looks like she's kinda just hovering there.
