Adventwings Laboratory

I've gotten some time off from work, so I decided to do some quick designs for possible shinki types. After browsing "Shinkis Types You Would Like to See Made" for ideas, I've managed to come up with one possible design:

"MMS Type-MLRS Himari"

I've got another design in the works, but it came out a bit too similar to a cross between Asuka and Werkstra:

"MMS Type-Interceptor Eiko"
Oh, well. Maybe I should try for the Tank-buster angle...

Neat designs. With the MLRS, I can see exactly what the armor set's made for. Both of them look to be light armor sets as opposed to full-fledged sets; was this intended?

Partly intended. I wanted to try my hand at shinki modding, so I'm starting with the light armor designs. Something to get my feet wet before I tackle full-set shinki gears.

How exactly are the box launchers going to be attached?

The missile pods are attached to the backpack unit, something like Fort Bragg's or Artille's. You can't see it in this shot, though, since the entire thing is blocking the view.

More pictures in a few days! =w=)

A little something random I drew for a facebook group. Not a shinki, but something close.

Name: Marisa Payakweha
Age: 14 Years old
Affiliation: Girl Scout, Air Force Division.
Striker Unit: F-5T Tigris

She'll probably be easier to make than a Land Striker, what with minimal moving parts and all. Can't say the same for her uniform, though. I'm not very good with sewing...

Note: The Thai Boy Scout/Girl Scout curriculum is divided into 3 divisions: The Army, Air Force and Navy. Each have their own specific uniforms and special curriculum. It's also a required course, so anyone entering 7th grade will have to choose which branch they'd be affiliated with. I went down the Army path, just so you know.

That's cute!
(Although I'd probably not make her that similar to Touhou's Marisa. People will look at that bit first)
