Hello everyone! Just started this thread for those of us who build papercraft, be it for our shinkis or just for the fun of working around with paper and glue. Feel free to post your papercraft works here.

I'll start off with my collection.

I've had these for years now. I started collecting Busou Shinki just recently (last November) and I'm bound to make paper stuff for them in the near future, be it clothing, accessories, or stuff to mess around with  . BTW, the katana is made out of cardboard so I guess it can be classified as papercraft  .

For now, here's a couple of pics of Strarf Command and the latest addition to my papercraft collection, Chibi Miku.

Hey, you're right! How could I have missed that? My cousin from Germany who came to visit last month probably messed with it. The problem is, I was at work that time. Thanks for pointing that out (was too busy messing with busou shinki and gunpla to notice :P).

The blonde bunny girl-nurse hybrid is one of the free papercraft designs I downloaded from the moekami website. All of these I got from browsing the net for free downloads  .

A mini-update of sorts... just built a bonnet for Strarf.

I just scaled down the template for a model I built way back. Here it is for those interested.

I used MS Word, set image size to 4" x 2.61" (that's what I did) but you may have to play with the sizes when you print 'cause of differing shinki haircuts . In my case I printed out three sizes but got it right building the second one (the first is quite small for Strarf's head but might fit Espadia).

I've had her for about three years now, and I forgot where I found the original link for her pattern, but I'm lucky enough to find another link. >_<

Dang... it's been a while. This is what I've been able to do after a very long papercrafting hiatus...

A shinki table/kotatsu

Image

Well, I used cardboard instead of just paper because I want it to be tough... well, cardboard is still technically made of paper so, yeah...

Image

I printed out wood textures, and tatami mats, for future use.

After gluing everything together...

The blanket is coming soon.

The reason for this build? There aren't any shinki-sized furniture available from where I'm around, so I'll just build some. Gonna have to redecorate my shinki-exclusive shelf, cause it looks plain and bare without anything. More stuff to come...

I was just making it up as I go.

But you can Google papercraft and find a lot of easy stuff to do. Then, you can change or mod it a bit to suit your needs.

I got papercraft Apple I-Pads!

I took the template off the net (Google Images) and scaled it down to shinki size (around 1/12). Can be a little difficult to build because of the size.
