I'm planning on making a few Custom Shinki Figures, right now I still need all the parts to make the actual figures so I'll just be posting my Digital art of my plans for future customs. BTW, I can email you the Standard Shinki base I made if you would like to use it. (I have to email it because most sites don't allow posting Bitmap images, and PNG tends save as a blank file rather than the image you saved, JPG just ruins the thing.)

First up is Masurao: This is what she will look like without armor. I will be using parts from a 1/144 Gundam Masurao for armor.


Second off is Crowing: (Kudos to whoever can tell what I'm referencing, there's 3 references total in the design including name)


Last, at least for now is Crowing's armored form. At least the body minus the modified Straf Parts I will also include in the final version.

Updated Masurao. After the epic failure that was my first idea I had to redo her, I'm planning on using a Kohiru as the body this time.

The Next 4 are from my fanfiction, their armors and weapons combine along with many other stolen Shinki parts to create Giga Fortress, designs up are only of their individual forms, Giga Fortress coming soon.

Yin and Yang collected most of the parts for Giga Fortress, they have weak A.I. and mostly obey cammands with little acting on thier own.


Orchis is the newest member of the team, after proving her worth she gets recolored to match the Giga Fortress colors. (named after and design based off Gundam GP-03 Dedrobium Orchis)

Espadia is so under-armed when Heracles borrows her armor so I let her test all my new stuff.

Here she is testing my Valintor Gears and carrying a new sword which she took from my spare SD Exia parts. I also make a cameo in the background thanks to my mirror.

Now I need to get to work converting my Masurao model into Shinki armor.

That's looking really nifty, actually. The shoulders must limit poseability a lot, though.

Only suggestion I have is to spray her with a layer of matte coat finish to cut down on the gloss.

Oh yeah, the one main drawback, because of their shape the back of the shoulders try to pop off if you move the arms too far back, and of course the fronts were designed for a much broader figure and not a Shinki's slender build so there is a lot of interference with the front of the Torso as well. The Arms are actually the entire arms from the Model, the forearms replace the Shinki forearms and I hollowed out the shoulders so the Shinki arms go through them into the forearm pegs.

I'm glad it was so easy to include the "Chest Cannon" Gimick without too much hassle.
