Wow, I could never do something like that! I too recently got Valona. How do you like her?

For those with patience and concentration this can be fairly easy. I don't have much of both so I can only stick to a few seconds. I'm not really into articulated figures, in fact this is the first figure I have purchased that has articulation. For stop motion purposes Valona is awesome. I intended to use a figma at first but due to some designs their hair or clothing limit their mobility. Shinki is far superior.

What camera did you use and what technique, I want to know.

You can use any camera that takes pictures. Stop motion is really a series of pictures in rapid succession. The only equipment you'd need is a camera, a tripod, and a computer to edit the pictures.

Yep, Benio pretty much nailed it. I'd like to add that using the camera's built in timer function is a definite plus combined with a tripod. For more fluid motion in a video you need to have more frames per second (each picture representing a frame). I used 24 frames per second. Having a good light source is a definite bonus. In the video below I thought the pictures looked fine on the camera display but once loaded into the computer they were very dark.
