The beginnings of the gatling on paper. Everything I do is planned as best as I can.

With everything on paper to scale, I figured I put Lynnette there as a reference.

But I wasn't pleased so a ruler and her hand holding out to where the estimated height of the gatling when standing should be.

When built from aluminum and brass rods, it was rather heavy. Maybe too heavy for MIkuru.

The poor girl deserves a break.

PLAN B! Plastic. This was taken after the plastic pieces were already glued and primered.

All painted and the shaft in place. The gatling is like that so the glue could dry without seizing the barrels from rotating.

A miniature electric motor for use on model railroads and two mags later, the gatling is almost finished.

Now the backpack was made to hold "the battery" and nine mags.

Two straps later and some sanding and painting, as well as making the cord from the backpack to the gatling, the thing is finished!!!!!!

Tomorrow, pics on my newest project.
