Probably the latter. The hair color of the first two never matched the original pilots (Heero Yuy and Kou Uraki respectively).

They should use a different character next time though. Yukina=Schneelein shouldn't be the lone model girl with merely a hair color change and armor swap. That just reeks of lazy.

They can only fit so much detail in those petite arms.

Just got myself a Light Snow Wing Gundam Girl.

So far, this one fares better (or maybe I just got one of the better batches) than the first regular version Wing Girl.. The Armor parts fit her better and are not loose unlike the first one. The quality of the face parts is pretty much the same. Although it's not as bad as the regular Wing Gundam Girl I got. As usual, there are still paint smudges and such. Otherwise She's a fine looking Mecha Girl Figure.

.....Probably going to be my last Gundam girl. Unless Bandai makes Nataku and Justice or Infinite Justice Gundam Girls.

...and has a looking straight front face!

she reallly looks way better than the original wing girl... only complain would be the "zero system decal" on the shield, which isnt supposed to exist on wing gundam in the first place... but that's just me being picky! :P

too bad she's an exclusive, otherwise i might pick her up....

In fairness, the Zoning and Emotional Range Omitted System or whatever that is... can be installed in any weapons platform like other Mobile Suits.
..but yeah, I know it's not canon for the Vanilla Wing to have it

Indeed, the "straight looking eyes" was another positive development.
I also like the light blue shades more than the "Default Gundam-Red-Blue-Yellow-White" paint scheme. ^^

Oh, I know... it's just that those manipulators were, oddly, my favorite part of that MS.

I like that part too.

We just have to remember that Bandai is struggling with maintaining the look (not so much the technical features) of the original MS while incorporating it on a tiny female frame.

They haven't done this sort of thing as long as Konami has, so there's still room for improvement.

Anyway, here's mine after partial inking. IFG and BFG are still being given the treatment, so they're not included for now. Also couldn't resist graying out the back part of the shield for effect.

it's not that bad, although it might have looked better if you posed her legs differently and adjusted the light a bit, infact just taking a very low opacity white and brushing over her legs in that pic might make a huge difference

The shot was more like a salvaged one anyway since most of her pics were overexposed and bright (I can only get my hands on my relative's a DSLR once a year... )

What do you mean by this one?
