Given that the tournament is several years old judging by the description, I'm guessing only the missiles were part of the test for Hina. Otherwise, I think someone would have noticed it was weird that the rich guy behind the tournament kept winning.

what the main 4 do is what I'd probably think mine would do when not in training
(I'd be a master who would let them fight, given my army of Murmeltiers, they would be trained like Waffen SS[including the training partner dog killing at the end])
as for whats happening so far, I always knew Valona was deceiving..
and that master.. I think I found myself (minus the theft and deception)

Monitor Shinki...basicallly a prototype, a guinea pig. A test bed for different programming, subroutines, hardware, etc. It's like a beta-copy Strarf Mk2.
