can anyone give me an advice on Jill rivers.... no also on Strarf's love events...

first on jill rivers, i think it's on love event 8? or 7? where after going to the town map you'll be directed to a love event and you'll be battling a altines?... it's so hard to beat. On that event should I let myself be beaten? is it really to be a beaten event for my shinki?

and on strarf, i think it's not seriously a love event... but it's still an event where after one tournament even g1 or any tournament, I get to fight this strong strarf that's so impossible to beat on love 15 >.<

One thing you must know, that you can reset your shinki memories. So even though you can't win it, you can try again later when your shinki is already strong.

For Jillrivers, it is hard, but you can win against it. However as far as I know, losing against her won't affect anything (except hurting your Jillrivers ego). Still, you can reset her memories once you are strong enough.

For Strarf, there's is no way you can win. That guy is cheating and no matter how strong your Strarf is, you can't win against it. Worst, you fight him twice, in other words, you must lose twice. If you don't want a D rank against that guy in the record (like me), then all you need to do is survive for 5 minutes.

5 minutes? that could be hard unless you have a high level Strarf against that cheater, or you could just be good at rushing the opponent or dodging, either way it ism't easy

by the way, now that I'm close to getting Justice again, I was wondering if it would be like the first time I got her, she took forever to load, but I also had a smaller memory chip, will an almost empty larger chip help with the loading time on her or will she still take hours?

It is hard, but it is possible. Just customize your Strarf so it focuses on Speed, Defense. And some defensive skills or manouvering skills (like double jump, emergency asced/descend). Focus on evasive manouvers and try not to attack, especially melee her, since my shinki forbids any kind of melee with a hammer user (well, she can, but not without taking a lot damage).

But then again, maybe because of my defensive playing style that I somehow accustomed myself on how to evade/counter any freaking attack, though not always works, but most of the time ends up with good results (I ain't playing battle masters for more than 400 hours and more than 4000 battles for nothing :cheesygrin: ).

Speaking of Justice, I rarely encounter your problem since I always turn off prebattle/postbatlle chat (where the opponent shinki and your shinki gives some comment/insult) whenever I use her. I always do this since I read somewhere that by turning off the prebattle/postbattle chat, the chance of eternal loading like that drop drastically. But once in a blue moon, it will happen though. So save often.

thanks, I tried that last night with my Jill Rivers, and almost made it, so what I'm doing right now is I bought every equipment and not exiting till I reach 15

for strarf, grrr, I hate losing, so I need to lose. Thanks again ^_^

well, with my justice on my last game was the actual game that loaded forever, not the speach, and I think the double knives are the best weapon for me, I used them with almost every shinki to level her up, there were some exceptions where I used the weapon the shinki was best with but I have never had an issue with rushing while using the double knives, I also used to equip flying gear to all of my shinki and just fly circles around the enemy until I saw a break to drop in at and attack them, though now I usually just charge at them from the ground using the doge buttons to avoid attacks, it works a little bit better I think, but I almost never use the shields, they just slow me down, and with good enough armor, they aren't really that important in my oppinion

Hmm, it is confusing. And to be honest, I don't focus too much on her, so maybe I'm just lucky that I rarely meet that problem when I use her.

I guess it's depend on preference and playing style what weapon is best. And yes, I agree that dual dagger is very good at rushing and chasing those shinkis that like to dodge like a maniac (yes, I'm looking at both of you Maochao and Renge). A dual dagger specialist does it alittle bit better though since her chasing range increase. Do note however that dual dagger is also one of the weakest melee weapon (despite in the status with atk of over 1000, it won't do the same damage as say a 2h sword with attack of 1000)

And about movement, like I say, it is depends on preference and playing style. Yes, I agree that air dash is very useful but without other (like air dodge or ascend/descend) you can end up in the air without boost to dodge (and in the face of some shinki, that can lead to a disastreous result). My Ach can't leave the ground at all (only gliding, no dual jump, no air dash) but with top speed of 200 and maximum boost duration, she can easily chase and corner anyone. Even the last boss is no match for her.

And about the shield, if you look carefully, some shield don't reduce your speed. Arnval shield for example, increase defend and charm with no speed penalty. But, yes, shield is not neccesary, but some shield can boost some status that your shinki maybe desperately need (especially those that ends up by default have def minus). Most shield also increase the guard area when your shinki defends, but this is like a two edge sword. While it increase the area your shinki can defend, it drops the shield strength (you notice that rather than start at blue color, it start at green color). For some shinki (those defensive specialist A.K.A. Tank) this is not a big deal, but for those that clearly inept at defending (Eukrante comes to mind...), this can result in really painful experience. Especially if just guard is not your forte (both you and your shinki).

well Eukrante is good for rushing so the lacking defence doesn't seem to hurt to much, by the way, how do you ascend and decend quickly, maybe I've never actually had any armor on the could do that but I just know I can't figure out how, and Ianeira also lacks in defence with only her amor on it seems, her legs are the only thing that can't be armored to use her special right? I usually just leave her in her own armor and work with that, and one last thing, is Justice's only weapon that big club like sword? it's cool but I had hoped she would have more

Agree. Eukrante is good at rushing, though not a strong one. She really depends on her speed and manouver to get the job done. If she faces someone faster than her, then she will have a hard time. Also, because lacking in def (and Lp not too hot either), getting ganged up in tag tournament is really like a torture for her.

Hmmm...I don't know how to write it, but the easiest way to know which one is quick ascend/descend is the heart earring + IR. It gives +5 def and quick ascend/descend skill (as well as massive boost in energy resist and massive malus in fire resist).

To quick ascend you must press R + up + x. To quick descend press R + down + x. Caution is needed since it drains your boost gauge very fast.

Indeed, Ianeira lacks defense with her only armor (have -5 in def), however she still have her arms, hip, legs, shoes, shield and two accesories open and two weapon slot, so she is very customable even if you insist using her EX RA attack (when compared to Asuka....).

Justice if I'm not mistaken she also have a SMG, though I'm not really sure. Didn't really pay too much attention on her. It's not because she is bad though (FAR from it. She is really good), but for some reason, I don't enjoy using her.

at last I finished the fight with my Jill Rivers against ロミロミ, I got a Perfect for it no damage to be exact. And with lvl10, after the fight, love events keeps on flowing. So I fought ロミロミ twice, although on the second fight she was too... weak.

I can't survive with my strarf for 5min. I always get a D for surviving 2 min. I guess I need to build her speed up.

What's everyone's lvl when they entered f1? my arnval is on lvl25, and I haven't unlock f1 yet.

EDIT: whoa, I got lost on the forums XD I thought the two were the same
