Monster Hunter Trading Weapons

Post by Xerain » Fri Aug 21, 2009 5:19 am

So I've been waiting for more info on these since I first heard about them. That is to say, I've been waiting to find out if they would be appropriately sized for shinki, because that would be awesome. Would save me a lot of trouble making monster hunter styled weapons myself!

For those who don't know what I'm referring to, here's a link:

They are, indeed, compatible.

Is there a Nameless Chibi in the house? He has photographic proof...

Give me a little time to get my Monster Hunter weapons on a Shinki. I do have Werkstra using some Dragon Quest sword though, though in size they're generally the same actually. Also in terms of Monster Hunter weapons I only have the Iron Katana and uh... some Large Bowgun. You'll see it when I post it. Anyway... here's Werkstra.

Werkstra 01
Werkstra 02
Werkstra 03

Oh and for another comparison of equipment, here's Master Chief with the Dragon Quest Evil Shield I think it was and Dragon Claw. Also if you want a pretty nice Computer Console, here's Werkstra again, using a Computer Console from (of all things) the toy line G-Force. Comes with he Mole character.

Melee Chief!
Working Werkstra.

...heh, whoops. I screwed up, there. @_x; Got really confused, my bad. I was thinking of the sword Werk was holding.

It's even got interchangeable barrels. I like the one on it, but it comes with a large more "Machine Gun" styled one and a more rifle styled one.

The three Barrels wolud be for Silencer, long range, and regular.

Do the MH weapons you have come with the bases like the ones featured on playasia? basically I'm wondering if the new set might be bigger and thus less shinki compatible.

Oh they come with bases, I just never use them. They also come with little Cat things that I believe from my limited Monster Hunter Knowledge are your assistants. They're more or less just things you hang from your cellphone though. If you want me to take pictures of the bases, I can get them out as well and stand someone next to them to show you comparison heights.

It would be nice to see if it isn't too much trouble, but you've already answered all my main questions, thanks. It might make me a little more interested in them, though.
