Do you know what type of paint it is? If it's enamel (or, worse, laquer), you need to use special thinners, not just water.

I've be told that and will have to try anther kind of paint thinner. but The thing is that when I got it,It was a lot less than half a jar and it had the tell tell signs of too much air exposure to it.( like I had got some one's use one instate of a new one that I had order) But I'm not done yet,I just need to get some new paint to finished her up.
