Beginning with Altlene, the boxes for Shinki include a small bio from an in-universe perspective. Someone on 4chan translated some, and cbox agreed it was a good idea to save the info as threads on 4chan are deleted after a time. Translated bios will be added here.

MMS TYPE ANGEL "ARNVAL MK.2" FULL ARMS PACKAGE

The latest model from FRONT LINE's best sellers.
As the limit of update parts that could be attached to the original had been reached, the body was newly changed to that of the MMS 3rd type.
While the original was made to have a straight-forward combat style revolving around a single weapon, the MK.2 has been equipped with mulit-functional parts and weapons which have been miniaturized so that the main body can carry them without obstruction.
This has also allowed the MK.2 to become a multi-role fighter in comparison to the original which was weak in close-combat.
The MK.2 has received multiple updates after its original release in 2041 and has become able to equip a larger variety of weapons.
The new parts added were the large wings from the MK. 2 Variant FL016/T, various stabilizers, and other parts.
The main weapons the MK.2 is equipped with are its broad swoard and its long-range launcher.
This has enhanced its close to long range abilities.
In addition to this, the armor parts can combine to be a support unit, allowing the MK.2 to take an even larger variety of combat roles.
The default setting of the AI is similar to the original model with its gentle and easy-going personality that even novice masters can handle.



MMS TYPE DEVIL 'STRARF MK.2' FULL ARMS PACKAGE

The newest model of FRONT LINE's best seller Strarf.
Though the original focused on overpowering opponents in armored close combat, the recent addition of combining armors and ultra high-speed battles made it a necessity to update the older model to the MK.2 using the MMS 3rd core as well as a complete overhaul of its weapons and armor parts.
The MK.2 focuses more on close range mobility, and dexterity than the original, which had fought by taking blows directly and then counter-attacking.
Since its first roll out in 2041 the MK.2 has had its arsenal updated on a number of occasions.
Its new equipment included the hand cannon and muffler sensor suite from the MK.2's variation form (FL017/L).
Also included are its pile bunkers, auxilliary boosters allowing for enhance close combat ability.
In addition to all of this, its armor parts can be combined using its gatling shield as a core into an assault fighter unit, acting to support its abilities in middle-long range combat the original had overlooked.
Although the MK.2 has better control and dexterity than the original, the MK.2 falls behind the original in sheer power. Because of this, the MK.2 is preferred more by expert masters who prefer to show off their own skills rather than rely on a shinki's inherent abilities.
The default setting of the AI has a slightly difficult personality, but if treated well, can become a very trustworthy partner.



MMS TYPE TENTACLES 'MARYCELES'

Ovest Pozzo Fabbrica (O.P.F.) developed both OP009C Proxima at the same time the marinelife-based MMS, Maryceles.
Its main feature is the large skirt-type unit attached to the area around the main body's hips.
The skirt has 5 individually actuated arms that allow the shinki move smoothly in all directions.
In addition to this, the skirt unit can be moved to its shoulders to act as a defensive cloak.
As Maryceles is able to equip a variety of weapons hidden underneath each arm to hide the shinki's combat strategy, Maryceles will be a very difficult opponent to fight against.
The bonnet can be repositioned to be a mask as a sensor enhancement as well as to act as facial protection.
It is reported that the mask also affects the AI's somewhat to become more fierce in combat, but this has been unconfirmed.
The AI's default setting on one side is said to be cute, but at the same gives glimpses to a more violent personality.



MMS TYPE CENTAURUS 'PROXIMA'

Proxima is a unit based after mythological creatures designed by Ovest Pozzo Fabbrica (O.P.F.)
As its namesake, it can fold out the automated stabilizers and legs attached to its back to enter a 4 legged mode.
It shows top-class mobility among modern shinkis.
At the same time it can have 2 rifles housed in its rear unit, allowing for middle to long range shooting.
The hood can be repositioned to be a mask to add enhanced frontal protection as well as add a concentrated sensor suite that allows for more accurate and stabilized shooting.
The AI's default setting has an easy-going confidence typical of that of a female heroine.
It might be because of this that this Shinki has seen a rise of popularity among female masters.



MMS TYPE LYNX 'ARTILLE'

In 2040, A/cute Dynamix developed Artille alongside Acd023_e Raptias.
The main feature for this Shinki is its multi-functional hanger module attached to its back which allows multiple modes including a weapon platform mode, a thruster unit mode, and others giving it a large degree of versatility in combat.
Artille, taking after its motif the leopard cat, is mostly a ground-based shinki. However, it has ample ability to take three-dimensional strategies thanks to thrusters attached to its back and legs.
In addition to this, Artille has a multitude of multi-range sensor suites attached to the shinkis head and body to allow more precise shooting from medium range with its handgun to long range with its anti-air/ground artillery cannon. This gives it a substantial degree of long-range ability.
Designed to be paired with the air-superiority type shinki in tag matches, it shows great ability in providing covering fire for any number of strategies.
Though the AI's default setting is eager to improve and generally obedient, it shows a bit of immaturity in its common sense so is recommended for masters who can make up for this with their own sense of judgement.

MMS TYPE EAGLE 'RAPTIAS'

In 2040, A/cute Dynamix developed Raptias alongside Acd024_l Artille.
The main feature for this Shinki is its multi-functional hanger module attached to its back which allows multiple modes including a weapon platform mode, a thruster unit mode, and others giving it a large degree of versatility in combat.
Going back to its roots of air combat, Raptias forgoes versatility on the field by using pre-loaded weaponry and armor in order to give more focus on forward momentum and equal weight distribution to make up for its larger wingspan and stronger thrusters, which enables thrilling high G air combat. This gives the shinki significant ability in its roles as either a dog fighter or precision air strike fighter.
In addition to this, Raptias is equipped with head gear called a "Frontal Shell" which enhances facial protection while at the same time giving the shinki an enhanced information feed giving the shinki a hawk-like awareness of its surroundings.
Because of this, it shows contributes significantly to tag matches when designated as a commander when paired with Artille.
The default AI setting does not just focus on the results (win) in a battle but the means by which the results are brought forth and its attitude and manner of speaking to a master can be described as "normal".



MMS TYPE NINJA 'FUBUKI TYPE 2'

The 2nd generation of Group K2's beginner's use model Fubuki.
In order to compete with other companies' releases, the main body has been updated to that of MMS 3rd and the armor has been updated as well.
FUBUKI TYPE 2 is a collaboration between Group K2 and FRONT LINE, the makers of the 'Arnval Series' and others.
Though the visual design is similar to that of the original, TYPE 2 takes on a more mechanical design than the original.
In order to facilitate the Fubuki Type 2's specialty of mobile ground-based combat, the shinki can be equipped with in-line skates, hover units that can be used as "Mizugumo", and other options. This allows it high speed mobility.
In terms of weapons, it follows after the original with a "ninja-like" short sword, shuriken, kunai, and other similar weapons.
In addition to this, the shinki can attach its weapons to eachother in order to use/carry them all at the same time.
It is also possible to ready a chainsaw as well as other weapon modes by combining its weapons, which enhances its close combat abilities.
The default setting of the AI is quiet and very obedient. It does not make any demands and has a tendency to be dishonest with itself regarding its emotions. Because of this, at first it may seem to be cold due to its lack of expression. However, if seen from a different perspective, it can be seen easy to handle with a large amount of potential as well as worth taking care of.



MMS TYPE NINJA 'MIZUKI TYPE 2'

The 2nd Generation of Group K2's Mizuki model released with Fubuki Type 2.
In order to keep up with competitors, the main body has been updated to that of MMS 3rd and the armor has been updated as well.
MIZUKI TYPE 2 is a collaboration between Group K2 and FRONT LINE, the makers of the 'Arnval Series'.
Though the visual design is similar to that of the original, TYPE 2 takes on a more mechanical design than the original.
In line with the original's concept as a air-based shinki, it pairs well with the land-based Fubuki Type 2.
As with the original, its main feature are white wing-like units on its back which allow the shinki to achieve a high amount of air mobility.
In terms of weapons it has a sickle, shuriken, and other "ninja-like" weapons but now has the addition of a long-bow, claws, and bits (not sure what this is) allowing it to engage in a variety of combat ranges.
In addition to this, a mask-type support sensor was added as a trial which disables the shinkis vision but still enhances its screening capabilities. A rabbit-ear like sensor suite was added as well.
The default AI has a noble character as well as a cool demeanor.
However, it will have absolute loyalty to a master that it comes to trust.



MMS TYPE CANNON FORT BRAGG DUSK

Since 2030 Arms In Pocket was touted as the top maker of model guns and other military toys.
2037, the company completed AIP021, Fort Bragg, which was developed with higher performance weaponry even for shinki development.
True to its concept of a "cannon" type shinki, it specializes in stationary long-range combat using its FB256 1.2mm smoothbore gun which is unfolded from its backpack.
In order to help strengthen its weakness of close range combat, it has been equipped with a combat knife and a small shield.
Because of this optimization, it has allowed the shinki to take a larger variety of tactics.
Though the default AI setting has a serious nature and can be a little stubborn, in the middle of a mission it seems to abide by a creed of absolute obedience to its master.



MMS TYPE FIREARMS ZELNOGRARD BERIG

With AIP021 Fort Bragg's success in shinki development in 2038, Arms in Pocket developed AIP035 Zelnogrard with the aim to increase firepower.
In order to stay portable and to reduce overall weight burden, Zelnogrard's main weapons' launcher and attachment mechanisms were incorporated into the arms and legs to allow an increase of firepower without sacrificing mobility.
Variation type AIP035B Zelnogrard Berig also further developes the shinki by increasing its defensive capability with newly added shield equipment.
It is possible to reconfigure the shield into machine gun attachments to not only increase defensive capabilities but offensive capabilities as well.
The default setting of the AI is bright and positive, but has a wealth of knowledge of military data and has a slight tendency to chatter on about military topics possibly due to the makers' obession with military goods.



MMS TYPE VIC VIPER 'VERVIETTA'

Developed by toy-maker MAVA Industries, a company well known for its tradition in ingenious combination of bishoujo and mechanics.
Developed from the concept of the "Vic Viper" from 1980 shooting game "Gradius" alongside MA014V Vervietta.
This is an unusual choice for MMS concepts.
The shinki's colors, armor parts, and construction all mimick that of the Vic Viper fighter.
The armor parts also combine to make a humanoid mecha as a gimmick.
This unique support robot mechanism enables the shinki a wide variety of tactics.
The main weapon, a launcher, is capable of overwhelming opponents with sheer firepower.
In addition to this, in humanoid mecha mode, the support robot is equipped with a saber, covering close-range combat.
Vervietta shows great ability all around, showing a good balance of attack options.
Of course, the shinki is effective even when the main body is equipped with the armor parts. Even so it shows top class mobility among shinkis.
The default AI setting is a bit difficult and though it is loyal to its master, it has trouble expressing this. Because its personality is a bit diffcult to handle it is recommended for difficult to treat experts.



MMS TYPE VIC VIBER 'LIRBIETE'

Developed by toy-maker MAVA Industries, a company well known for its tradition in ingenious combination of bishoujo and mechanics.
Developed from the concept of the "Vic Viper" from 1980 shooting game "Gradius" alongside MA014V Vervietta.
True to their concept of "Vic Vipers", Lirbiette's coordination of grey and red gives it a heavily different impression than that of its sister shinki Vervietta which has a scheme of blue and white.
It is possible to create a "Vic Viper" by combining the armor parts without the main body as well as a humanoid mode.
This unique support robot mechanism enables the shinki a wide variety of tactics.
The main features of the fighter mode are the strengthened head unit sensors as well as its missiles equipped underneath it which allow for ultra long ranged battle.
In humanoid mode, the main weapon is a broad sword which gives it high attack capabilities even in close combat.
Of course, it is possible to combine the armor parts with the MMS main body which gives the shinki a broad attack range as well as top class mobility among its peers.
The default setting of the AI has a loyal and intimate attitude towards its master but at the same time has a possessive personality and thus requires slightly more care than usual.
Though Lirbiete requires slightly more care, to those masters who are willing to put in an effort caring for it, it can be a shinki that answers honestly to its master.



MMS TYPE ANGEL 'ARNVAL MK.2 TEMPESTA FULL ARMS PACKAGE'

The FL016 Arvnal MK.2 is the latest model of FRONT LINE's best selling series, Arnval.
The Tempesta, rolled out in 2041, is a variant of the MK.2 with an emphasis on weapons payload.
It has been updated with added specifications in comparison to the normal model.
It is equipped with the original's large wings, various stabilizers, and not only a machine gun but but also a broadsword and long-range launcher, enhancing its capability of engaging in a broad range of combat ranges.
In order to stabilize the weight imbalance caused by the added equipment, a brand new stabilization head sensor can be equipped.
The sensor allows for effecient operation of a variety of weapons.
In addition to all this, the armor parts can be combined to assemble a support fighter, allowing the Mk.2 Tempesta to take a variety of combat tactics.
The default setting for the AI is somewhat gentler than the normal variant but at the same time does not show any hesitation to use its strengthened specifications in combat.



MMS TYPE DEVIL 'STRARF MK.2 LAVINA' FULL ARMS PACKAGE

FL017/L Strarf MK.2 Lavina is FRONT LINE's latest addition to the bestselling Strarf series and a variation of the FL017 Strarf MK.2 rolled out in 2041.
In order to enhance its close-range capabilities, a sensor suite in guise of a muffler, a close-range use hand cannon, and other equipment have been added.
Since the Normal variant received an update in 2042, the Lavina type was planned to receive a similar update.
The existing handcannon, sensor suite, auxilliary booster, pilebunker, and other parts were added to enhance its close-range combat abilities.
In addition to this, a head visor was introduced to allow better control of the added parts and shorter reaction times giving the shinki better mobility characteristics despite the increased equipment load.
In addition to this, the armor parts can be combined to assemble an assault fighter using the gatling shield as a core which covers middle to long range combat where the shinki would otherwise be at a loss.
The default AI setting is slightly more honest than the normal model and easier to handle but in combat, has a tendency to stubbornly stick to the offense, giving a glimpse of a more combative personality.


MMS TYPE FENCER-PEARL OORBELLEN

One of the four planned jewel shinkis from the "Oorbellen" series developed by FRONTLINE in 2040.
Code-named "Pearl" and painted shining white, this shinki is the most basic model in the series.
Originally, the "Oorbellen" series was not set to be commercially available but was forced to be made available to the public by overwhelming response at the time this news was revealed. The "Oorbellen" series was then released in 2041 close to its original concept.
The concept of the "Oorbellen" series revolves around simplicity and going back to the basics by pulling out the core potential of only the MMS body using smaller armor parts, instead of relying on its armor for combat like other shinkis.
Although small and inexpensive, this shinki displays enough skill to not fall behind others.
The AI set to be slightly stubborn but has a naive personality. Due to its similarities to the "Arnval" series by the same maker, it can be said that this is the easiest shinki to handle within the "Oorbellen" Series.



MMS TYPE FENCER-OBSIDIAN ZIELBELLEN

Painted a deep and dark color, this shinki was code-named "Obsidian".

The concept of the "Oorbellen" series revolves around simplicity and going back to the basics by pulling out the core potential of only the MMS body using smaller armor parts, instead of relying on its armor for combat like other shinkis.
Although small and inexpensive, this shinki does not fall behind others due to its skill.
Though basically the same in skill as sister shinki YFL-018/P "Orbellen", Zielbellen is tuned to focus slightly more on offense than defense.
The AI setting could be thought of as curt at first but has a tendency to blush at almost trivial things. Because of this, it might be said that the AI is actually just shy. If let mature through fighting together with its master, Zielbellen will become a very trustworthy partner.



MMS TYPE VIOLIN SHARATANG

Developer AVANT PHYSIQUE is a collaboration company by small hand maid makers, luxury speaker makers, and instrument makers.
In 2040, using skills used to create full-auto tuning and auto music-playing robots, created the first ever instrument-based MMS'.
This MMS' name, "Sharatang" was taken from the wood taken from the tree used to make the MMS' violin. The tree does not grow large enough to provide material to make a full-sized violin but could be used to create one for this MMS.
The main features of this MMS are its musical performance, its instrument that uses sound-waves, and speaker tuning. In battle, the MMS uses sound-waves to distort opponents' mechanical settings.
There are many cases where Sharatang is used as a bed-side nightlight. By turning on a dim light and playing a lullaby, Sharatang can help masters fall into a deep sleep.

MMS Type Devil Strarf

Battle style : Heavy attack type
A shinki whose many blades attached to her large weaponized arms and legs make it remniscient of a devil, its motif.
One blow from its enormous arms can easily blow away its opponents.
It also features a significant amount of armor that enhances its attack capabilities.
Full of curiousity and very moody. Does whatever she wants and has a tendency to entangle others into her business, causing a lot of chaos.
Actually gets lonely very easily and secretly wishes for someone to take care of her but unintentionally ends up being malicious to those she likes.
Has a tendency to not think much about the strengths or weaknesses of a weapon and only uses weapons she enjoys using in combat.

MMS TYPE ANGEL ARVNAL
Maker : Frontline
Battle Style : High-mobility Ranged Type

A shinki whose rear wings and boosters allow for high-mobility combat.
From high-output laser rifle to hand gun, she has a variety of ranged weapons, and takes utmost pride in her abilities in mobile ranged combat.
She has the personality of a tactful honor-student.
However, because of this, she lacks boldness and tends to be a conformist.
She is polite to everyone, but has a tendency to nag her master.
Is obedient, but may reinterpret orders depending on the situation at hand.

MMS TYPE FIGHTER ASUKA
BRAND : FRONTLINE
BATTLE STYLE : High-maneuverability Dogfighter type

Deployments where she is able to dominate opponents while not taking a single hit are ideal as she has significant capabilities in dodging.
She also has various movement abilities which, when used, allow her to respond to attacks from any range.
Though she is usually modest and quiet, in battle she adopts a heavily gallant persona.
She sometimes seems to be off in her own world or even plays dumb, but the reality is that she has a very serious personality.
Obedient to her master. Tends to favor avoiding attacks over defense.

MMS TYPE SAMURAI BENIO
BRAND : THE SIXTH FACTORY
BATTLE STYLE : Variable Japanese Combat Type / Close Range Type

A Shinki that features a Japanese Sword and Lance, other close combat weapons, and a heavy amount of armor parts.
Unlike the MMS TYPE KNIGHT, Benio boasts a combat style that favors parrying an opponent's attack and exploiting the resulting opening.
Following ancient Japanese social standards, she stays in the background to put her lord at the forefront.
Though this is deeply engrained in her, this does not imply the weakness of her will, rather the strength of the dignity of her heart.
Aims to parry all attacks and to be flexible in her response.

MMS TYPE PANZER MURMELTIER
BRAND : FRONT LINE
BATTLE STYLE : Armor Penetration Type

Boasts significant firepower even among shinkis that focus on offensive strength, though this is made up for with weaknesses in other areas, resulting in an uphill battle during the first half of a match.
Is the type to bide her time early on and then exhibit her full capabilities later.
A shinki who has the dignity of a soldier. Has a wealth of knowledge in various different topics, but is generally bad-mouthed/vulgar.
Has a lot of pride and tends to strut about, but hopes for the growth of her owner more than anyone else.
Generally does not bother trying to avoid or block attacks, rather tries to exploit openings from them.
Has a tendency to act on her own judgement rather than follow orders.

MMS TYPE SIREN EUKRANTE
BRAND : MAGIC MARKET
BATTLE STYLE : Dodge-Specialized Type

Both the MMS Body and armor boasts significant dodge abilities.
Does not have good attack capabilities so is reliant on precision strikes to vital areas.
Is able to completely remove her armor and reassemble it into the "Glide On Presstail" (?), enhancing her airborne attack abilities.
Is often misunderstood because of her cool demeanor and assertive tone but is truthfully a normal young girl with who likes to play and is curious about love.
Has a kind, sincere, and caring personality.
Prioritizes avoiding attacks and precision strikes.

MMS TYPE MERMAID IANEIRA
BRAND : MAGIC MARKET
BATTLE STYLE : Underwater Adaptive Type

Displays a great degree of underwater capabilities, enough so that other shinkis cannot follow it in comparison.
In addition to this, is able to force an underwater battle stage by usage of her battle-mode "Rage of Oceanus".
Displays an "older sister/lady" kind of attitude to her owner. Has a gentle disposition and is always saying things like "ara ara~" or "fufu~" and smiling.
Participates in battles as a sport.
Is easy-going and laid-back at all times regardless of the situation and plays everything by ear.

Based on a design by Kagetsuna Akine (?), a winner of "Our Shinki" contest held in 2038 (gathering/competition of ideas for Busou Shinki from general public), her body was made by Dione Corporation and her armaments were provided by Arms in Pocket, an unprecedented "tag-team" arrangement.
Inside each Armor Crystal positioned in various places around her body is a built-in small capacitor. Power can be supplied independently to legs and auxiliary arms and despite large size the armor possesses high mobility. Moreover, her signature Skirt Armor is a multi-purpose unit that can expand into a grappling/hand-to-hand combat weapon and can also transform into high-mobility wings, achieving an excellent balance between offense and defense.
Personality-wise, she is amiable and fundamentally easy to deal with, but her strategies have a tendency to be somewhat inflexible.
Furthermore, while she was released at about the same time as her sister Altines, the difference between their specifications is unknown.

Valkyrie Type MMS Altlene Viola

A variation of Altlene model (body by Dione Corporation and armaments by Arms in Pocket, an unprecedented "tag-team" arrangement) that was released in 2040.
Inside each Armor Crystal positioned in various places around her body is a built-in small capacitor. Power can be supplied independently to legs and auxiliary arms and despite large size the armor possesses high mobility. Moreover, her signature Skirt Armor is a multi-purpose unit that can expand into a grappling/hand-to-hand combat weapon and can also transform into high-mobility wings, achieving an excellent balance between offense and defense.
In addition to that, thanks to an exclusive Randgrid Rifle, Viola has become fully capable to deal with mid- and long-range combat, which previously was Altlene's weak point. This blue model with no openings in either offense or defence has been amply designed to give off an air of intimidation to her opponents.

A sister model of Altlene (DI/AIP-001X1) jointly developed by Dione Corporation and Arms in Pocket using award-winning design from "Our Shinki" contest held in 2038 (gathering/competition of ideas for Busou Shinki from general public).
She is characterized by a battle style that makes use of agility specific to her small body type and excels at three-dimensional tactics.

A variation of Altines model, an award-winner of "Our Shinki" contest held in 2038 (gathering/competition of ideas for Busou Shinki from general public) jointly developed by Dione Corporation and Arms in Pocket.
She is characterized by a battle style that makes use of agility specific to her small body type and excels at three-dimensional tactics.

Neat, though the translations leave something to be desired when it comes to fluidity. I wish all Shinkis had these; perhaps we should write fan ones for those that don't?

Same one, from my understanding. He was having it translated from Japanese to a language that he could translate to english. The person doing the primary translation from Japanese to whatever intermediary language was the one who lost the files, most likely.
