arnval's easily broken wings

Post by star » Sun Dec 13, 2009 11:15 pm

yes.....its true....arnval has easily broken wings! the peg that connects theactual wing that is so long is very fragile! all i did was took her out of the box and it was very cold when i did and the long peg snapped when i removed it from her wings!! it makes me sad and i saw on her im not the only one with this problem....any ways....this is a warning to be sure that the shinkis parts are room temperature before removall of a leg peg like the one in arnval's wings

well there is your problem. a lot of jap toys, especially Shinkis and Figmas, get stiff when they are cold.

A lot of plastic, in general, gets stiff and brittle when cold.
Dont store anything plastic outside in the winter, unless you want them snapping on you.

my valona was particularly unfortunate- (after her, i def was more careful with any dismantling) snapped her axe peg AND her stand peg. mere TOUCH.

GLUE AHOY.

My Valona suffered a similar fate, but with one of her hands; the rubber holding the peg that connects to the arm ripped so now it can't be used to hold anything or else it falls off. :( It stays on however if Valona doesn't do any strenuous activities, lol.

Also, one of my Juvisy's bits that connect her "spikes" to the armor is cracked; need to glue it before it completely snaps in two.

i did forget to mention, but thats also true in my case. makes me think valona did have some issues with quality? she came with a crocked chestplate too, it falls off easy because it wasnt glued correctly in factory! unlucky?
