Not really. :P

http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/is/pv/pv02.html

Japan engineered an armed powered exoskeleton "Infinite Stratos" (IS) and it became the mainstream of weapons. Since only women can operate IS, women dominate the society over men. Orimura Ichika is a 15 year old boy and accidentally touches an IS placed in the IS pilot training school. He is found to be the only man who can operate IS and forced to enter the training school. Ichika's busy school life surrounded by girls has begun.

Well, This is the closes thing we get to a Busou Shinki animated series :nanner:

The closest thing we've had to a Busou Shinki series was Angelic Layer. and it still sounds closer then this one does.

Wow, never realizes that Angelic Layer is the closest concept to Busou Shinki... Well, Angelic layers can't talk, but Shinki does ^_^

Dammit, Noodles! You had to go and get me all excited just to show me another harem anime in the works. Rarg.

Actually, I think Medarot/Medabots is a bit closer than Angelic Layer...

Well it looks interesting at the least. Though it might turn out to be nothing more than an ecchi harem, but the mech parts has me curious.

Boobs and mecha goes side by side. It's the best combination Japan have to offer. I would love to see a mecha series that doesn't have eye candy fanservice being successful :P

Gundam00 has almost no eye candy. And in Patlabor, although the main character is a woman, she's not exactly eye candy.

Gundam 00 has plenty of eye candy, if you're a chick or gay. Which was the point of the art direction.
