Well, it looks like I'm not the only one excited to see The Force Awakens. I found Belle and Heather hard at play:

I finally got hold of a DSLR camera for the first time . . . so of course Belle insisted she be my test subject.

I'm not sure if she's being coy or has just realised for powerful the zoom is.

I haven't yet. A friend very kindly loaned me a slightly older one to play around with and see how I got on with DSLRs as a whole before maybe getting my own.
