Really nice job - she reminds me of a Werk without that coat

As a fellow Shinki clothesmaker, may I recommend swapping from stitches to glue? It worked wonders for me. Also, I'd be interested in comparing sizes; it seems your wife used a slightly smaller sleeve width than I did.

I'm actually pretty impressed with what she has accomplished with her stitching actually. She has used glue as well, but doesn't like it as much. Maybe you have some tips that might make glueing easier? Ours ends up a mess.

As for the sleeve width, my wife used the wide end of a chopstick for a guide. It was close to shinki arm width, and she stitched around it. Worked great.

Ah, that would work. I tried measuring and cutting a pattern; I should try using a form instead. As for the glue, I find that it takes longer to set, but it's cleaner overall in the final project. I recommend tacky glue and making sure to press down hard.

Thanks! Mary Celes has really livened up the place. Strarf hates her, my Lavina finds her "disconcerting" (her words), and everyone else just thinks she's adorable... if a little weird mind you)
