As luck would have it, all 3 of my girls arrived on the same day (Altlene Viola from Mandarake, Mizuki and Fubuki from Hobby Search).

Mandarake's packaging was adequate:

Same day.

Time to let the ninja sisters out of their boxes as well. I named them Kureha (Mizuki) and Yukihana (Fubuki).

Hobby Search's packaging... Hmm, I think I liked Mandarake's better.

Not just MSRP, they were actually on sale. Mine weren't the last, but a couple of days later they were all sold out.

Next day.

Yukihana is checking out the area...


...Kureha has taken an interest in one of my speakers...


...while Patricia is looking over everybody from above (top of the PC case).


Later that night I started unpacking Yukihana's armaments.

I didn't have time to do any more than that though.

The next day.

These two came to check up on me. Yukihana looks like she wants to ask me something.


"Yuki, what is it?"
"Master, so about the rest of my armaments..."
"We'll check it out tonight after work, I promise."


Later that night.


"At last!"


Normally shooting with flash in front of reflective surfaces is a dumb idea, but I'm kinda liking the effect.



The girls got curious about Yuki's armor:


...and even got her to let them look at her weapons:


"Victory through superior cuteness", huh...

Cradle set arrived.

Before I knew it, the ninja sisters were completely absorbed by the whole charging experience.


"Master, what about me?"
"Well, you girls are going to have to make do with 2 cradles until the other set arrives."




I guess that's one way of doing it. Doesn't look too comfortable though. (As a side note, the cradle's armrests don't really work with long hair).




"Better, isn't it?"




Strategically placed piece of foam solves the armrest problem.




First proper night sleep (charge) since... ever?
