Anyways, silliness aside, Bakugan has yielded some interesting things over the time it's been out, and one of the newest gimmicks they're using is called Battle Gear, basically powerups for the normal Bakugan. Now the interesting part of this is that these two Battle Gear(Both Vilantor Gears) are completely UNMODDED at the moment. That's right, these monstrous turbine weapons are capable of connecting to shinki pegs with no work(I did cut Werk's bending joint pieces from the spare joint sprues, but that's hardly what I'd consider work :biggrin: ). But yeah, I'm quite happy with these and I still have a few other Bakugan that I want to try using with shinki, but that's for another day. So what do you think?

I do plan to repaint them, and unfortunately this is the only color they come in currently. As to price...about 7.50USD before taxes at Wal Mart.

The funny thing of it is, they WERE promo-arted in silver...but then, I've seen something about Electronic Battle Gear, so maybe it's related to that.

Here is a list of all Bakugan Battle Gear to date, including some that aren't quite in the market yet. I'm quite looking forwards to grabbing a Chompixx for my Graf, two Zukanators for my Tigris or Ach, and, most of all, a Boomixx for my Bragg if not for a few others XD;

Do you have any idea if any of the others will work unmodded?

All Battle Gears will have peg holes that match the size of the standard shinki peg. Every other form of Bakugan(regular, special attack, traps) will require some form of modification(either of the Bakugan which are unfriendly to mod treatments or to shinki, which were made to be modded). However, since all normal and special attack Bakugan are sphereform when closed, that means you only have to look for ones that have an interesting open form and otherwise stick to traps(I'd suggest a Baliton or a Hexstar for a living mace, I need to work on mine) or Battle Gear for your shinki.
