Thanks for the feedback, guys! So all of them are appealing in their own way.

B&W fits her much better. I love this custom.

True, the overall simplicity is rather good.

Pumpkin colours! There's already shit-tons of b&w Shinkis, and the orange and black looks good done like that.

That's the main reason why I chose that color scheme first, that and I do like dark-yellow/orange yellow and black color pairs.

Have to agree, thought black and blue seems better for me (i'm into dark colors right now)

This was suggested by someone on cbox (not telling who...) and just wanted to add a third option. TBH I'm rather partial to the first two samples.

Also her name also implies that the colors should be kept dark and dull. But speaking of silver, maybe a dark silver would make it look amazing.

Lol, Noir's front hair piece faded due to me touching it all the time (time for a repaint!)

And for silver, I dunno... I'm kinda trying to avoid metallic colors, but might consider gray (the one I always use with Noir's stuff) for outlining some of the parts.

So, I guess it's the first option? I should edit the pic again and try to add gray details on the solid orange-yellow parts first.

After days of typhoon rain and power blackouts, here's Noir's new look!



I just went and used my original color theme plan (orange-yellow on black). I tried editing the pic with different design stuff (adding borders/lines of gray and/or other color combinations on the orange-yellow parts) but the simple, solid colors look best IMO.



Here, I painted Noir's MMS body with some gray. I don't think I need to add orange-yellow here (but might change my mind...)



Unicorn's arms are awesome (after modding them a bit...), built-in bean tonfas (Tonfas? They're beam sabers! But whatever, Bandai...), and slots where you can stick on guns and stuff (look at the rifle on Noir's right arm).

This'll be Noir's personal gear and colors, any new stuff (and old ones) will be painted following the theme. Still thinking of what color to change her hair into...

But don't most shinkis have alt chest armors in the same color themes as their bodies (i.e. beetle girls, the fencers, etc.)? Besides, the armor is supposed to be whole black, with orange-yellow, gray and red parts. But your suggestion is very much appreciated.

Thanks! I'm still waiting for some Kotobukiya MSG's to be available at the store I buy from (preferrably the rocket launchers or the gatling), they only have the basic rifles atm.

Thanks as well. It took me some time and a redoing to get the look I want (cat ears are easy, dog ears are kinda difficult to make 'em look like DOG ears...).

Oh, and the pink chainsaw is called 'Mysteltainn', and is based on the anime 'Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?' (scratch-built, by yours truly).

Might try that, but not sure when... following weeks are work hectic and I'm trying to remember all the photo-editing stuff I used to do back in college.
