All your Shinki start out in C-class, and by performing well with them in official battles you can move them into B-, A-, and S-class. The biggest difference between the classes is that as you go up in class, you can equip more crap on your Shinki.
However, there's a "deadline" to get to the next class in terms of your Shinki's level. If she fails to get into B-class by level 50, A-class by level 100, or S-class by level 150, she'll automatically be shunted into EX-Class. It's more of a prestige thing than anything else, because S-class and EX-class Shinki have nearly the same limits on what they can equip.

And as to missions, you can do most missions with all shinki.
-Some- of them do have class, level or other requirements.

i have always wondered about the validity of this requirement as i once had an A class shinki go EX somewhere in her 120's.

so- EX somehow sounds like something that will happen when you FAIL to raise them quickly enough? Hows that done, i can never win at actual combat because the face off are never balanced (havin lv 60 goin with lv's 130's n' such) and you need to do actual combat in order to raise and dont screw up affection with constant training (? what?)

The requirements are:
10 wins before level 51 to get to B.
20 more wins before level 101 to get to A.
30 more wins before level 181 AND before (wins+losses) > 100 to get to S.

Whoa. O_O Sounds easy on paper, but it has to be very hard.

A 60% win rate before level 181 isn't really too hard in theory, but in practice (as a noob at least and a foreign one at that)...
Yeah, I think Lira will wind up in EX this go around unless I reset her and hope for the best. I'm surprised she made it to B really XD

Hate to sound stupid but my eukrante is ex at level 0. I was messing around, trying to figure some stuff out that wasn't covered in english guides and i pressed a button on the customize screen. She turned to EX and the button disappeared. How do i get her back? DO i need to get her back?

Uh oh. You pressed the 'drop to Ex' button.
She can't go back, alas. You can make a new Euk with the same CSC, or you can just .. play her through in Ex-class. I'd go for the restart, honestly.
