Also, two new items have been added to the synthesis stores- Eukrante-type Magic Market shirt, and also an Omatsuri Hapi coat. Very nice. o/

And finally, there's now a store where you can get excess parts exchanged for Junk Parts. Very useful, that.

At this point, I have to say that I had a very high hope for this year's event from the beginning - and then 573 crashed it. The RPG-like map is great. The back-end story (although short) is catchy. The "network" looks rather refreshing. The event items are fun to collect. But even with all these good points, this event still didn't turn out to be what I was wishing for... It's like you get a 4GB mp3 player with the size of a clip, but without skip folder option -- sure, fast forward the songs one by one until you get what you wanted, then backward one by one to get what you wanted next...

With roughly 13 days left, I wonder what 573 will pull out next?

Lemon, my Howling, somehow managed to beat her with a ton of luck and SP-skill blockery. XD

The little story thing was nice, I hope they do more of this kind of thing during future events.

My only complaint is that I wasn't paying attention and ended up not recording the battle... now I get to waste time trying to do it over again.

But at least I might be able to take a cap of Artemis's full-body shot that shows up during the end credits.

Better writeup thing...

The event boss is Artemis, the supposed "Strongest Shinki" and the focus of this entire event. To horribly abbreviate the story, she and her owner Cynthia were a near-unstoppble team, but Cynthia was frail and ended up dying of whatever disease she had. Artemis didn't understand this, and ended up losing it pretty much, getting uploaded onto the intarwebs and wreaking havoc there.

But in the end, you hunt her down to the satellite area and beat her... in death, she's reunited with Cynthia, who tells her that she doesn't have to fight any more. Yay end.


As for the fight itself, Artemis is a heavy SP-user, with five attacks:

Laser of Artemis, which is her non-SP attack that she uses in between SP charging.
Operation Manuals 1-3, which are the LP halver, levelx10 damage and SP killer.
And finally, Big Bang, which is a horrible rape skill that does about 2600 damage to my girls when. Not fun.

The trick is to use a shield skill, Steady Protection in particular completely negates all SP-based damage. Then you can beat on her normally, since her dodge is non-existant. But if you screw up somehow, she will use Big Bang and rape you to death.

I fully expect Konami to do an order thing around November or thereabouts, the same way they did with Mizuki last year.


And before I forget, Konami's extending the event to the 8th, on account of all the server screwups they've had in the past week or so.
