Re: update error
I have to agree with the suggestion that this is a step to make it harder for the non-natives to play. I would not be at all surprised if this becomes the norm with updates. Kinda stinks; after all, I would find it hard to believe that the non-Japanese players cause any any problems. We add to the size of the playing audience, and (looking at the small army in front of me on the desk) I think we help with sales as well.
Ah well, keep your fingers crossed.

Re: update error
we also add to their server load, and a lot of asian countries are very nationalistic when it comes to, well, anything. i used to play a Korean game online that you pretty much had to proxy into because they would regularly go trough and ban foreign IPs.waerd wrote:I have to agree with the suggestion that this is a step to make it harder for the non-natives to play. Re: update error
that's the first thing that went through my mind, but they'll have do more than that to keep me from playing BRwaerd wrote:I have to agree with the suggestion that this is a step to make it harder for the non-natives to play.
