Trying to patch, and it keeps stoping. Can anyone help?

Post by Foxphyre » Mon Oct 11, 2010 6:02 am

Im trying to patch my game, but after around 2 hours of patching it stops and displays a program i guess it wasnt able to download. And i can read the katakana at the end. It said to (retry). but iv done it over 4 times today and every time it cancels the patch i have to start all over. Does anyone know whats going on with it, or if there is a site that i can get the "Update" folder?

before trying to update, switch your computer timezone to japan, that does the trick!

If the timezone is changed and it still won't patch, you might need to update your video drivers or your copy of Directx.

Well, i changed my time zone to "Osaka, sapporo, Tokyo" because i didnt see a Japan option, i also changed my computer setting also to Japan so i can see what it says in Japanese. It canceled again saying "data/figure_bui.bin No download ni (cannot read kanji) Shimasta" Ill try updating my video drivers and directX. Though i thought i wouldent have a problem with thoes because i played Aion and other MMOs.

that's the right timezone!

i dont think directx has anything to do with the update problem due to directx is only used for the game itself, not the updater... (i could be wrong though)

you probably need to reinstall the game with the japanese settings already set up on your computer and try to update again, you can then switch back to your normal timezone after the updates are done!

Okay, I finally got it. after installing directX 10, the download finished, but when i try to log on, it gives an error code "5:6:100:0". Everytime i try to log in, the code comes up instantly, is it a download error? Or is my account's login and password wrong?

Edit: Iv tried various login and passwords i use (its been a while sense i played this game) and now the error code changed to "7:6:100:0"

[Report:]
Just ran a little test -- "7:6:100:0" is mis-match username/password...

And "5:6:100:0" is invalid value in username/password (eg, leave the username field empty).

Wow this sucks... im trying to remember my login/password. My brother made this account for me a while ago and he just recently passed away. So im kinda lost on what he made my password. And i think he made it using his email, which i dont know.

So for the login, it cannot have any caps? and for the password, no spaces? And is the password case sensitive?
