How about we make an English Battle Rondo wiki?

I decided to bump this. We need to let more people know about this project, it's dying! I think one of the biggest things we need is somebody to translate the menu screens, so if anybody here knows somebody who knows Japanese, see if they can help. Let's keep this from dying!

To be honest, I think by starting with a narrow Battle Rondo focus you're not helping yourself. If you made it a more generic Shinki wiki, with stats and advice for DS, BR, and the various bits of media as well as BR, you'd attract more attention, and maybe get more people who know Japanese to help figure out screens and other info.

In the meantime, there's an older BR FAQ that's still out there. Once I get done inputting the stuff I'm personally interested in (Mostly all the guns/armor, I'm a sucker for that info), I can try shopping some screens in, but someone's going to need to put up screens first.

The reason I made a battle rondo one was because the Japanese one it's supposed to be based on is also a Battle Rondo one. There wasn't much thought process in it.

Waffedolphin's equipment entry is in. Unsure of one element. リュフトフェン,/ryufutofen.
Her other items are sea related, but I cant seem to make those katakana match up with anything. Anyone know German who want to take a guess?

Added equipment for Ach, Yda, and Schmetterling. Things go so much faster when you're not trying to figure out foreign words.

From Googling and Googling: might be 'lufthafen' (i.e. lyuftofen).

Lufthafen means airport (literally 'air haven'). However, it appears that Austrian German translates the English word (and, therefore, the meaning) 'pot' (i. e. storage vessel) as ... hafen! So, lufthafen: airpot, apparently.

I think they were aiming for air tank, which Google tells me is luftbehälter.

That said, I'm like Corben Dallas: I pretty much speak only English and Bad English, so all of the above is highly speculative.

You could try Babelfish. It seems to be surprisingly good with translation through multiple languages. Also, I think Maochao's claw weapon should be translated to Research Nail. That's what I get from translators and it just sounds cool.
