As some of you may know, I'm new to Busou Shinki, and I've been having some trouble, with some guides on Battle Rondo being outdated, and others simply not existing. Additionally, you can't copy and paste the text from the game into a translator. This has led to a fair amount of whining on my part, chances are, left an unfortunate bad impression on people. I know there's a japanese wiki, but translation software doesn't always work so well, and one of the things they said in bright read letters on there was to read the manual. I was thinking that perhaps as a group project, we could make a wiki for those of us who speak english. It could contain strategy, items lists, and the other stuff you would find on the Japanese one, but it would also include a walkthough of getting and starting Battle Rondo, and perhaps translations of the different menus and other text. I think that this would help to make the game more accessible and enjoyable for those of us who do not know Japanese.

Thoughts

YES! This needs to be done. Or even an English Strategy guide or something. Somewhere we can compile the mess of information that's spread out all over the place and put it in one spot nice and neat so we don't have to hunt all over all the time. Yes there's some great stickied posts but if we could do sections on each of the characters, an about section of every little thing and all contribute to it, we might just all become much better. Sure it'll be a lot of work but the weight doesn't have to all be on one person's shoulders.

Well, I can start one up, but other people will have to contribute and stuff.

Problem is- No offense but it's usually the people who want to -use- one that come up with something like this. Not so much the people who'd have to -make- one. It's.. not really the first time this idea has been thrown about.

That said, i'll certainly contribute some once there's a decent framework.

Or we can just stick with the Japanese one or something. >.>

I will admit, I have no experience making Wikis. I just wanted to throw the idea out there. Also, the japanese wiki is made for people who can read all of the text in the game.

Well, I'm making one right now. All it'll have is CSCs at the moment, but as long as it's still summer before school starts, I'll see if I can fit in the different playable Shinkis as well weapons, armor, and skills, all of which I'll get from the Japanese Wiki. After that other people can add in more hidden things, like Range sense or something.

I'll contribute as well. I'm not the smartest or the greatest Battle Rondo player but I'm not entirely useless. I'll do what I can when I can at least. We can do something if we work together.

I'll try to figure out a way I can help as well.
