Re: How about we make an English Battle Rondo wiki?
French isnt to bad as it still uses the Latin Alphabet. Russian uses Cryllic.
When I was translating Xiphos gear for my own amusement in the past, I got the following list. Everything in () are my notes about translations into English
Armament
Défense (French - Defense)
Corne (French - Horn)
Criniére (French - Mane)
Bec (French - A bird's bead)
Equipment
Cavalerie Armure: Head & Face (French - Cavalry Armor)
Cavalerie Armure: Chest
Cavalerie Armure: Shoulder x 2
Cavalerie Armure: Waist
Cavalerie Armure: Arm x 2
Soldat Armure: Chest (French - Soldier Armor)
Soldat Armure: Shoulder x 2
Soldat Armure: Waist
Soldat Armure: Arms x 2
Cheval Botte x 2 (French - Horse Boots)
Barrette d'Espoire (Fr - Barrete of Hope)

Thanks, that'll be useful later when I work on armor. Right now though I'm working on her weapons. You have anything on that?

I would honestly make those translations if I knew japanese or was able to copy and paste the text into a translator. Even if I did, I can't seem to get the print screen key to work. On a side note, did you know that it looks like you may be able to pat your shinki on the head with the cursor?

That's a way to sorta gauge her affection for you. Rubbing her head or poking her face will make her do something. If she seems shy or smiles, she have a good relation with you, and if she looks annoyed and troubled you don't have a good relation with her.

It's the 4 lines under ArmamentZero_Blazer wrote:Thanks, that'll be useful later when I work on armor. Right now though I'm working on her weapons. You have anything on that?
Armament
Défense (French - Defense) - Lance
Corne (French - Horn) - Sword
Criniére (French - Mane) - Axe
Bec (French - A bird's bead) - Bow
Those were easy as they're actually written out on her instruction sheet for the figure.

Ahhhh, I was confused. I didn't think those were the weapons. T_T
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.
Re: How about we make an English Battle Rondo wiki?
Not sure where to start, so I put in a couple of pages just to get the hang of it.
For now, I'll see about copying things over from the Japanese wiki. If I can't translate it easily, I'll leave it in Japanese for now.
As for the repaint pages, should we give them their own pages, or their own section on the original shinki? Some repaints or remakes are sometimes a little different as far as I know (but I could be wrong), so it might make sense to give them their own page. Shinki like Arnval and Strarf seem to be just fine under their secondary counterparts, since they get all the updated parts in Battle Rondo.

Re: How about we make an English Battle Rondo wiki?
At first I wasn't sure whether or not to give the repaints their own pages, but I'm not too sure now. The Japanese wiki gives them their own pages, but from what I've seen the weapons/armor don't do anything different. Since you already started, might as well keep them in their own pages.
Also Sonja, I don't mean to sound ungrateful of your help, but would it be possible for you to follow the official website's names for the shinkis? So say Werkstra black would be "Werkstra B" like on the official site, and not "Werkstra (Type B )".

That's a link of the ones sold in the shop, starting with wave 1. As you go up the side bar you continue the waves.

Re: How about we make an English Battle Rondo wiki?
...they tacked a B onto the end, rather than a bk. at the front like on all the other repaints?
Re: How about we make an English Battle Rondo wiki?
Yes, she's listed as Type B, Valona repaint is listed as Type W, oddly enough.
I can definitely follow the webpage, I think I got the 'mistake' from the translation of the japanese wiki. Gogo google translate |D. There should be a way to rename the page.
I guess since they are (technically) different characters, even though they're statistically the same, it makes it kind of difficult to figure out what to do with them.
All the parts for Werkstra have bk. added on the front, but she's named on konamistyle kind of oddly.
