The paintjob on the mace is awesome! You've used an airbrush for this, right?

It's a wide sheet of ribbon I bought a while back. I just cut it, then stretch, crumble and tear it to make it look rough and torn.Storm Wing wrote:Is that a real fabric??
Yep, first time using the airbrush for anything other than base-coating or shading/weathering effect.Takashi wrote:The paintjob on the mace is awesome! You've used an airbrush for this, right?

Dreaming of a day when I'll get an airbrush and make sufficient coloring for my gunpla.

Talking about coloring...here is my first WIP:
1/144 HG Astray Gold Frame:
I know that there are some red parts that still can be seen. I'm gona fix it soon with a paintbrush. I used Gold and Black Gundam Markers for coloring as well as white Tamiya Paint.
Also, I'm still thinking of the way to create Hyper Bazooka Gold Frame was using in Gundam Seed Astray manga series.

Re: gunpla and other model kits!
I have now 2 Options
Making additional armour plates at the chest area
Or
Making ornament simmilar to that of Sinanju or Geara Zulu
Edit:
I choose a armour plates, becouse it will look more liek a frontline mobulie suit, rather than a palace guard.
Also Added 2 small thrusters (simillar to Full Vernian Gundam or a Zaku E type).
Edit:
Edit:
I have added a armour plates to the helmet, new command horn. A friend of mine have said that I should add some panel lines, but is it a good idea? I don't have much place at chest left right now.
Can anone of gunpla builders help poor me? What can I add/modify?

If the content look just like the boxart, then I would not say they are knockoff. In fact, I would gave them a big pat on the back, because they have break out of the trend and make a original line of their own.Storm Wing wrote:I've heard about knockoffs, but this is ridiculous (& awsum, in a way or another)

Which is why I am VERY interested in this franchise from China right now:

I mean, yes, the theme is rather generic, and the toy are 80% shellformers, but then, so is a lot of 50 episodes long "toy commercial" shows in Japan nowadays, and some of the toys are rather tastefully design, even as shellformers. The animation are not great, but you know what? If this means Chinese toy makers are moving on from blatent copying to making their own stuff, I'm supporting it. (except right now they don't sell the merchandise anywhere except in China... There are actually a few there I am interested...)
