Legos!

Post by PrimeGuy » Wed Mar 18, 2009 2:59 am

Who here likes legos? one of my 3 main hobbies is Lego Castle, infact i've been working on something so i'd figure i'd show it here for the heck of it!

So i built a blacksmith shop. i'm not good at explaining so i'll just post some pics.

I am quite proud of the detail work though.

Funny thing, see those 2 walls on the left? They go on each side to make it deeper, I just dont have the space to display it like that.

Thanks! Detail wise I think its the shining example. all the walls and the main tower don't really have any interior to them.

It's way better than the blacksmith shop in the Medieval Village.

I've got a big 'ol box full of assorted lego kits from over the years, but my personal favorite lego sets are the now discontinued Exo-Force figures, especialy the Golden City series. Bionicles are something I'm just getting back into, as the figures have at last stopped sucking again (I stopped paying attention when the spider thingies were introduced and they abandoned the whole "mask powers" concept for spinning discs.)

Have the Antigrav Cycle MK-III. The original was based on something I saw YEARS back. It was intact for a while, then I disassembled it. Later on, I built a new version, which was intact up until last night. I decided a new version was needed. (I got sick of all the red).

The MK-III is the most changed version yet, as the assembly is nearly entirely different, not to mention it's not red anymore apart from the antigrav pods.

I'd have made the antigrav pods black, but I only have *one* of that part in black... <<

Actually, the original builder's was apparently based on Kaneda's bike... *shrug*

I *really* wish I could remember the site I saw it on, but that had to be like six years ago... <_< But the guy had some really awesome stuff.
